- Great price, minor problems- November 17, 2017
For 10 bucks this was one of the cheaper alternatives to batteries, figured if it was a dud not much of a loss. Gladly it generally works great. Fits straight into my new version xbox one controller, charges via wire through the controller (I'm using an official xbox one wire), and off first charge I used my controller via bluetooth for roughly 10+ hours. The bad part is that when charging with my solution above the light doesn't turn on indicating if it's charging or not. Another problem is that when connected to my pc through bluetooth for steam, I can't turn off the controller from the UI. Other than that this product works great in my opinion!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Works great!- April 13, 2016
The battery pack works great. It fits just fine. I think the people that were complaining about it not fitting, I think they don't have it inserted properly into the controller. The reason why I state that is because I didn't have it in there right first as well. But I flipped it over. The three little metal strips on the battery is suppose to be against the inside of the controller not facing out. I saw one picture posted here that has the battery inserted the wrong way. Flip it around it will fit fine with cover on it. Either way I found it powers the controller. Lasts a few days depending on how much you game.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Does the job.- May 5, 2020
The charging contacts make it difficult to put the battery door back on the controller. Also it doesn't include a charging cable, just the battery. When the controller is plugged into a Microsoft charging cable the led indicator doesn't come on. In gameplay, the console will occasionally give a low battery warning even when fully charged. More annoying is the charge indicator on screen is absent when using this battery. Bottom line, it isn't worth returning because it does the job sans some features you would otherwise expect. With that said, I'd recommend buying an official Microsoft battery kit over this one.No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
