- As Advertised- June 16, 2016
I've been fiddling with my laptop charger for a while. I looked up answers for why my Acer laptop was misbehaving, and most said it was a main board problem, that the charging circuits must be on the way out. Finally, today, the laptop just wouldn't charge or run on AC power. For fun, I tested the charger and sure enough it was flat...0.00 volts. I'm usually sketchy on "universal" chargers, but this is cheaper than a new laptop. I attached the Acer tip to the charger, plugged it in, and back in business. No review regarding how long the charger will last, but construction seems to be solid. I'm happy with my purchase.

- Works great. Had the tip I needed.- July 30, 2021
I was in a pinch. I just started a role with a company down in NC. I went down for a week for onboarding and training. When I left, I did so without the power block. I didn't realize it until Sunday night when I was getting prepared to work at home the next day. I went online and started searching for a power block. I found this one. It was appealing as it had a tip to fit my Dell as well as other laptops. I figured once I got my power block back, I could keep this one handy in case my wife or I ever needed a spare. This unit fit both my and my wife's laptop. The charging is flawless. I'd totally get another one of these if the need arose.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Ruined my computer!- December 29, 2015
I am a national speaker that travels the country. The cord on my Toshiba laptop had recently become frayed, and I needed another cord ASAP. This is what was recommended to me. My speaking engagement was 2800 miles away from home, and the day before I was to speak, my Toshiba lost power and would not start up. I could hear something rattling inside. Frantically, I looked for a computer store to see what could be done. This new cord had pushed my power device (where you plug in) all the way into the center of the computer, and was not fixable. So, here I am on a trip, working, and I had to buy a new computer. I have never been so frustrated in my entire career. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
- Bought It - Returned It- June 17, 2020
Bought this to replace the power adapter for my daughter's Lenovo laptop. Item had quality feel and looked like it would last. My issue is that the description states it fits Lenovo but it didn't fit mine. Wasn't even close. Company should spend more time providing details or links for more information instead of saying it will work. In the inclosed instructions you can contact the company and apparently they will send you the correct tip to fit your computer - this is nice but doesn't help correct a situation you need to address immediately. Returned and purchased the correct aftermarket adapter online for half the price.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Dell doesn't recognize this power supply- July 13, 2017
I bought three of these power supplies. I'm the Net Admin for a school, and I bought them for doing laptop maintenance. I tried using them on several Dell laptops, all the same model number: Dell Latitude E5450. In every case, during power up, the laptop showed an error message during bootup that said, "The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined. The battery may not charge." I have attached a picture to this review so you can see the complete message. I was using the correct tip, included with the power supply in the package. These power supplies may work fine with other laptops - even other Dells - but your experience may not be everything you desired. I'm keeping them to try using them with other laptops, but I had to purchase official Dell power supplies for the Dell Latitude E5450s.No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
