- Great, sturdy adapter- June 23, 2020
Really awesome adapter! I owned 2 adapters prior to purchasing this one but they both fit really loose going into my audio interface, so noise would be cut off at the slightest touch. This adapter, on the other hand, has really snug input and output measurements which is great! It makes a difference for my situation. It sits tight in my interface's direct monitor input. No more loose connection! As far as quality and looks, it's built in a reasonable fashion. Doesn't look too special or flashy. A little dull looking but it does the job.

The manufacturing specs must not be tight enough on this adapter. I'm using it in the same 1/4" jack where I've used a two-way headphone splitter in the past that worked fine. (I've just moved it to another application so I needed to replace it.) And I'm plugging in the same device into the 1/8" jack on this adapter. But if I don't position the cable exactly right, I get an annoying buzz. I bought two of these and get the same results with both, so it's a design flaw. Going to look elsewhere for a replacement.

Had this for about three months before it started messing up. Doesn't have very good grip for the 3.5 or the 1/4 end. I use Sennhieser HD6xx and a JDS Labs headphone amp. After just three months the headphone would stop working until I messed with the connection. Gave up bought a sennheiser version for 10 bucks on Amazon and now I don't have an issue.
