Excellent

Excellent saves buying multiple gadgets. To the previous reviewer, I don't know what pot you bought because the instant pot has the saute function, and the button is clearly visible on the touch pad! Saves over half a day of cooking and electricity in a crock pot, on the saute pressure mode.

Not-So-Instant Instant Pot

Ok, so pressure-cooking something you normally use a slow cooker for will save you time, but otherwise there isn't anything "instant' about it. Takes time to get to pressure, and unless you manually release it, it takes time to naturally release it. A "20-minute" meal can take over an hour. That said, it works fine and is easy to use. The vast array of buttons/modes is completely unnecessary, though. Save some money and get a model (or even a different, cheaper make) that can saute, steam, and pressure cook and you will be fine. I haven't tried the slow-cooker function on this, but those who have recommend keeping your slow-cooker. Overall I'm happy with it and use it quite a bit, but knowing what I know now, I'd have chosen a cheaper brand and version.
