First time using it I made a bone broth in 3 hours. Normally that tall task takes me 48 hours of simmering on the stove. I have done sous vide in it, slow cooked a roast, steamed veggies, cooked eggs and many more (still need to try yogurt) . I have pushed this thing to its limits and it has not disappointed. If you are looking for a time saver for cooking this appliance is all you'll ever need!!!!

It took a little getting used to but now I really enjoying it. I have made several dishes in it and will continue to experiment with. Makes amazing boiled eggs, they peel like a dream. Definitely recommend this Instant Pot

After I purchased the Ultra, I purchased 3 more as gifts for family members. We all use them for cooking everything. So much less mess as you only dirty 1 pot. I suggest purchasing an extra stainless steel pot to help with multi cooking. On a weekly basis I cook Steel Cut Oats for breakfast, Pasta/Side Kicks, Kraft Dinner, fall off the bone ribs, fall off the bone chicken / pulled chicken. perfect boiled eggs, Asian Congee and perfect white fluffy rice, brown rice, Juicy Steamed PorkChops. Best of all... the ultra mode to manually set your temperature at 135 degrees I am able to do perfect Sous-Vide Steaks then flash fry them in a hot cast iron pan for 30 seconds on each side. You can cook anything you can possibly think of. I've even baked a blueberry pie in it.
