iRobot Roomba i8+ (Plus) Wi-Fi Connected Robot Vacuum with Automatic Dirt Disposal - Medium Silver (8550)

This unit is terrible. We bought it to replace a Eufy L70 which we liked but had issues with the rolling brush and unit was out of warranty. The i8 unit leaves dog fur clumps -everywhere- ...it just seems to push dog fur around. It is far noisier than the eufy L70, has no suction H/M/L option and dies before it gets to the base. It also has not yet self emptied into the bin as promised (but the app tells us it needs it). Feels like a $600+ poorly functioning robo vac. There are better products out there based on our experience so far....and the price is so high we had high expectations. Don't waste your money.

This is a great idea however it's not exactly great implementation 1 - Does a fair to poor job of vacuuming 2 - This thing gets stuck 90% of the time. I have nothing extraordinary on the floor. I have one area rug (which it can't seem to climb up on half the time). I make sure the bath mats and bedside rugs are lifted out of the way on the days 'thing' is scheduled to work 3 - This things gets stuck in a different location every time!! It's a bit infuriating. It's not one thing where could rectify the impossible obstacle course my place obviously is. So in short. It's OK but the for these prices design needs some major work

I received my i8+ yesterday. Ran him for the 1st time this morning. I own 1 German Shepherd, 1 Corgi, and 1 Chihuahua. Needless to say, there's a lot of dog hair floating. No matter how much I vacuum, it's always floating around. It ran for approximately 1.5 hrs and did an amazing job. These devices have been come such a long way since the beginning. I expect this to relieve some stress that I get with having tumbleweed hair all over. Lol.

I bought this iRobot in Dec 20, in preparation for the new house we were building. I used if for the 1st time in April 21. The product was great and great for the hardwood floors. I picked up everything! I used it for about a month before getting an error message. I contacted iRobot and they immediately sent me another. The second machine does not pick up nearly as good as the 1st.. not sure if the second was refurbished product... but does not work as well as the 1st one I had. Overall it is a great asset and helps keep down the dirt. Just wished it worked as good as the original one. Overall, great product. I couldn't image my life without it.

Got this as a a Christmas gift in 2020 by February 2021 had to send out to get serviced bc it was not emptying. Thank god it was under warranty at that time, now January 2022 I keep getting error 14 to reinstall the bin. I've reinstalled, cleaned, new filter, rebooted, rebooted to factory settings and even bought a new bin. Still nothing is working and bc it's now over a year old there's absolutely no help from customer service. They keep telling the same as I've already done! Ridiculous. Have a $500 Vacuum that's just sitting there and only lasted a little over a year. Shoulda asked for a less expensive Shark!
