I cannot fathom why King Canada paired such a good, powerful ball bearing table saw with such a poor rip fence and miter. The rip fence is too flimsy to clamp firmly to the back of the saw, but you can make your own with a straight piece of hardwood, two carriage bolts, two star knobs and two short pieces of angle iron (for the clamps). The stock miter bar slops around in the non-standard sized slot too much to be of any use as-is. I ended up machining a new miter bar from a piece of square aluminum stock, as I could not find anything to fit. If you are up to making the modifications, this saw can function just as well as others costing much more. If not, you should look elsewhere. The height and angle adjustments are a breeze and the adjustments stay put when locked in place. The saw is powerful and the blade runs effortlessly and true on its ball bearings. The table top, although not perfectly flat, does not affect the quality of your cuts.
