- Powerful, difficult to click together at first- January 17, 2019
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stick blender as a gift. I hinted at getting this one over another brand, as my precious other brand model broke after only a dozen or so uses. Having the bag for the motor base and accessories is nice. I only gave four stars because of the slight difficulty in putting the blend/chop blade attachment on the first few times. You have to insert and rotate to line up the markers, but mine would not rotate at first. It would still function without rotating, but the power of the motor would eventually dislodge the attachment. Finally, after wearing down the plastic notches a bit, I was able to lock the attachment into place.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Useful Kitchen Appliance!- March 4, 2015
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this hand blender about a month ago and am very pleased that I did. I use it for making smoothies, homemade mayonnaise, and pureeing soups and beans. It makes much less mess than my old methods of transferring things to a blender or food processor in batches. I have a little trouble with the blade guard coming off when I'm pureeing beans but this is understandable considering how thick they are. I also have had the attachment detach from the motor but this has been user error because I didn't have it lined up correctly. Overall, a very sturdy and helpful appliance. Much better than other hand blenders in the same price-range.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Exactly what I expected-PERFECT!- October 26, 2016
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stick blender is amazing for pureeing foods quickly, easily, and dependably while needing very little clean-up effort. It's perfect for small batches of baby food without having to use the food processor and have a large clean-up job. As an added bonus, the whipping and chopping attachments make omelettes a BREEZE! I've seen some reviews where people say the wand attachment doesn't stay in place, but I honestly think they may not be giving that final, firm twist to lock it in place before turning the stick blender on. It requires a firm twist to lock, which is reassuring that it is attached well. My only regret is that I didn't purchase one sooner!!!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Wow, another great Kitchen Aid product- March 24, 2017
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old hand blender died. When I shopped for a new one I found that most are either really cheap with no power or very expensive as they all lots of extras that are not needed. Since I have used Kitchen Aid products for over 34 years I know they produce a quality item. The blender is a lot more powerful than my old one. The hand blender does separate so it can put in the dishwasher; a great convenience. The blades are stainless so they will hold up for years. it is easier to store than a single piece one. This is not as loud as my previous blender. This blender works great as well. This is definitely worth the purchase!!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Excellent Hand Blender- September 28, 2014
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hand blender as a replacement for a different brand that had lasted for nearly 8 years of heavy use. I was reluctant to try another brand because I was so pleased with my first blender, but KitchenAid is a trusted name and this blender was much cheaper than the other brand so I decided to give it a try. I noticed that the motor is very powerful. The blender is sturdy and I like the attachments. The one issue that I noticed is that the design doesn't lend to a vortex forming in the food being blended which makes it a little difficult to thoroughly blend all of the food. Once I realized this and altered my method of blending it's worked very well.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
