You can't go wrong with this subwoofer! Went from a Polk Audio PSW10 to this and it's like night and day. I've got this subwoofer at 1/4 gain and it's still shaking the glasses in the kitchen cupboards. Great, tight bass and thunderous lows. Has no issues filling my living room with sound. Auto-on is a great feature and the small light on the front behind the grill is a nice feature. I was able to get this subwoofer on Black Friday at a great price but having heard it now, I would gladly pay full price for it.

Sounds good for it’s size!

I returned both my Polk Audio 10 inch subwoofers for 2 of these. On sale they were the same price. That’s the only similarity, this is ALOT lighter, and smaller than the polk. This is 300 watts vs 200. The sound that comes out of this literally blows the Polk out of the water. It rumbles the windows in my home. From the basement where the theatre room is setup we can feel it through the floor upstairs. Quite possibly overkill. But I put together 5.2.4 Atmos home theatre. Guaranteed these speakers won’t be replaced anytime soon!

Better than its size would have you believe

I bought this around black friday to replace an old Velodyne 12" sub whose built in amp stopped working. Despite this having a smaller driver and less overall wattage, it hits harder and produces a better overall sound. This is plenty powerful to fill my basement home theater setup, I honestly can't believe that I need to keep it at 40-50% power just to avoid rattling the windows. Initially I thought I would regret buying this one over the 12" model, but I can honestly say that I have zero buyer's remorse over my decision. It's more than adequate for a home theater setup.

Klipsch R10SW 10" 300-Watt Powered Subwoofer

This Is A great Sub for 10 inch , lots of punch with no distortion , I had some issues with my Polk , at the time when I bought my 10 inch Polk I bought the extended warranty . so I returned it after 5 years and no questions they did a full return on it and told me to pick out another Sub., Great! so I went and picked out the Klipsch R10 and just paid the difference, best move ever , love this Sub . Thanks BestBuy.

Great sub if under [price]

I was going to order two of HSU VTF-15H MK2 subs (rosenut version) but the shipping cost to Canada for 1 sub was the price of this Klipsch R10SW. So I said why not give a try before I pull the trigger. First impression, very loud, my living room is about 29x17 feet with an open 18 feet ceiling that is also open to kitchen and hallways. I normally don't listen to loud volume but this subs are great for movies and some music. The frequency doesn't go as deep as I wanted to be but for [price] I don't complain much. If you are looking for an amazing bass (for example in the headphone world, Fostex TH900, Hifiman HE6, Audeze's) you will need to spend lot of money or at least get SVS Ultra subs or HSU VT series subs. But for cheap subs that can do the movies then this is the choice. I will wait until the Canadian dollar gets better and order HSU. Oh, make sure you get at least 2 subs. I have 2 and will get 2 more for back corners.

For the money this is by far the best sub we have owned.Has the copper cones, which should provide years of sevice free bass.Only downfall it is hard to see the indents in the control knobs, should be painted white.

Excellent subwoofer

Very easy hook-up right out of the box... plug and play. I bought it on sale so an even better deal. Phenomenal bass for a front firing sub. I am using it with Marantz SR7007 receiver + KLIPSCH RF82 II Reference V towers + RC62 II Center + RB61II Rear Speakers. Very happy with KLIPSCH products
