  • Do Not Buy
    by

When I purchased this item it was making a high pitch humming/buzzing noise from day one. Klipsch is aware of this issue but has not fixed it yet, they should not be selling this product due to the defect.

  • Constant hum/static/whineing sound

I agree with the 2 other reviewers. Do not buy this item. There is a constant high pitch whining sound that can be heard when muted-to-mid volume. If your ears are as sensitive as mine, the noise will drive you insane. I am a huge Klipsch fan with a lot of their speakers, but the RSB-14 is not going to be one of them.

  • High Pitch Noise do not buy
    by

I read a ton of reviews all were pretty good except for one from the guy in Oakville who experienced a high pitch whine as he described it. No other web site made mention of this, so I decided to buy the RSB-14 from Klipsch. Well after 10 minutes of running very unpleasent high noise screetches out of the speakers. If you unplug all the inputs, the noise remains, input HDMI, the noise is there, input optical digital the noise is there. At low to moderate volumes the nosie is unbearable, at high volumes you can mostly mask it. How can Klipsch release a product with a know issue like this. I went to their web site and upgraded the Firmware, and still the noise remains. I have high end ear phones I use on planes all the time they are excellent, my main home theatre with 7.1 is Klipsch, but this soundbar is just a major mistake they should recall this product. Do not buy this product.
