LeapFrog LeapStart 3D Learning System - Green - English

I’ve got this on a Thursday, I spent most of Friday night and part of Saturday trying to install the software/books. Turns out it was my computer’s operating system (windows 8) making it not work, even though the box says it should run on W8. By Sunday I tried on an Apple notebook and I was able to pass the W8 malfunctioned step but at some point got stuck again, this time I figured it out (a few add-ons needed to be installed) after that it worked/s like a charm. I was able to instal eight books (super fast) and the internal memory was only half full. This exceeded my expectations. Finally my kids were able to try it and they really liked it!! They could be entertained for at least half an hour. The plus is that they are learning something. I would recommend this product, but you need to be patient for the initial installation part.

Each book you buy you need to plug device into the computer and download the books onto the unit. I guess to keep the cost down? No computer thing doesn't work.
