This was one of those rare sets that had me guessing the whole time I was building it because the construction was so ingenious. It’s also a great way to get kids interested in old fairy tales, and I’d imagine this concept could go far if Lego continues to make other sets in this vein. It would also be interesting to see them do some non-Western fairy tales from around the world too.

A playfully designed instruction book, becomes more and more beautiful with every brick you add to it. The two story inserts are playful in design, highly interactive, and they spark new ideas. Always find the builds captivating and the finished product impressive. Really awesome (my first LEGO set).

This was fun. Fits right in on the bookshelf and looks like any other book. About as heavy as the average book. No secrets, but love watching people's reaction when they open the cover! The whole Lego story is mind blowing and well appreciated by this Lego fanatic. I need a 5 car garage to set my stuff up!
