Awful purchase experience

Its not about the computer, but the purchase experience. I placed a purchased order for this computer, and received email confirmation. So I was expected and excited to get it. Day later when I checked order status online, I found the order was canceled. I was not even sent an email on this. When I called, I was told "oh, its out of stock"..............

Very Pleased

I have read the other reviews for this product and I must say I disagree. A laptop of this price performs just fine. It does simple tasks that are perfect for school work. I have tested this with some lighter games, and it plays Minecraft fine, and even League of Legends around the 40 fps range. Overall a nice light laptop.

Cheap...you get what you pay for

I thought it was working okay despite the fact that this laptop is flimsy. I thought it was good for a Netflix and at home laptop. Then three of the keys quit working and when I was trying to see if something was lodged under one, it snapped right off. Poor quality and I regret buying.

Very slow

A very, very slow computer

Cheap Junk

Unfortunately like most things made by Lenovo, this computer is no exception. It is very cheaply made and offers poor value for the money. The computer's RAM is even soldered to the motherboard to cut down on costs, which means it cannot be upgraded, nor changed in the case of failure. Screen resolution and clarity are both poor. There are much better units on the market in this price range.

Cheap.. for a reason

I've had this for two-three months. God awful laptop. Within the first month, the screen would flicker randomly when I was scrolling on any program (Word, Google Chrome, etc...) Freezes at least once a week. Slow. Definitely not a fan of Lenovo after this experience.

Back to the 90's

Bought this computer to just have one in the house for when its needed for iTunes. It is so SLOW to even load an empty google page; I feel like I stepped back in time and waiting to hear the dial up sound. Its the slowest computer in the house and its painful to have to wait for it to load anything. Save your money or spend a little more and by something better.

Fantastic Laptop

I bought this laptop april 26 of this year (2017) from Best Buy and I absolutely love it! I even produced an unboxing video on it and put it together using Roxio Video Lab that I also bought from Best Buy (many years ago). This laptop beats my older Dell 3524 laptop anyday!

DO NOT BUY this piece of garbage

This laptop is an absolute and utter piece of garbage. Hardware AND software problems since the date of purchase and Lenovo and BestBuy say they're sorry but do nothing to help. Absolute waste of money. Stay far away from this!

avoid this laptop

this was a good deal but the included software to make a recovery disc did not work and would not write to my external drive even though it recognized it. Returned to store

Just what I bought it for

Honestly I should still give the laptop a few more months before reviewing to make sure it stays together but everything this is working great. Got this on sale for my son in grade school (ugh yes, they need laptops now!?) and it works perfectly for what I paid for: Homework, Homework and Youtube(??). space is huge and response time is fine for a low-budget piece like this.

Ridiculously slow. Can't even do basic web browsing

This laptop looked great on paper. It seemed to have all of the specs needed for some basic web browsing (reading news articles, viewing the occasional YouTube video, etc.) but it really REALLY struggles to even do that. I feel like I've been transported back into the 1990's with these loading speeds. FYI I have over 200 Mbps download speeds on other, older machines in my house, so it's definitely not an issue with my network. It's the junk processor they put into this laptop. It is essentially a tablet CPU modified to operate a laptop, and the low quality REALLY shows here. It even struggles at doing offline tasks such as watching a previously-downloaded movie or simple word processing. The only useful function it serves is as a paperweight AVOID THIS LAPTOP

Beware: 4 GB RAM maximum

Much to my chagrin, the supplied 4 GB of RAM is the maximum that this laptop will take because the RAM unit is soldered to the Integrated Chip. Come on! 8 GB should be the minimum amount of RAM in a laptop of this genre. There is only one RAM slot! I returned it to Best Buy.
