  • Lexar JumpDrive

  • Not as Expected

Read speeds are 100MB/sec but the write speeds cycle between 0-30MB/sec. If you average out the time to write file to the drive, its about 6MB/sec. I tried with and without write caching but no difference. Except for the storage size its no better than a 2.0 USB drive. Not even worth the discounted price.

  • Super Slow

I agree with others, this drive is really slow. Bought 2 and one is already toast. Disappointing.

  • Real world speeds not as advertised.

These drives have a very small buffer. Read speeds of large files will be as good as or better than the advertised 150 MB/s. Actual file transfer of normal multiple files will average about 10-12 MB/s (1/10 as fast as advertised). So if you are using these to transfer a large file to many destinations then it will work above expectation. If you plan to use as a backup drive of standard office files etc. It will leave you waiting. Overall good build quality just not a quality storage device.
