After a week of owning it there's a stuck pixel on the display. I've tried everything recommended, it won't go away and LG says it can't be fixed. I can't get it in the car to take it anywhere so I'm stuck with that one white pixel. For a top of the line expensive product, I'm not very happy with "oh well, tough luck, deal with it". I won't buy an LG TV again.

I went from a 2007 Plasma 50" to this while it was on sale during Black Friday. I have nothing bad to say about. I just wish I got the 65" but cannot justify an extra grand for it. Everything looks amazing on this, the upscaling is great, 4K video is stunning. The only thing I didn't like was the position of the power cable since my jack is on the other side of the tv but this is just preferential. I helped a friend set up another 55" LCD from a different brand and let me tell you nothing looks as good after you've seen OLED. I plugged my PC into it and played some FIFA19 with my brother and I barely noticed any lag in game mode. Overall a great buy! Highly recommend it if you want high end experience. I dunno what others are saying about cable HD. I have watched some HD(1080p) IPTV and it is great! The cursor is fun, if you don't like it just use buttons. Cheers

I just purchased the 55 c8. I have a perfectly working Panasonic 55 st60 (been a fabulous tv and still is. Cnet's only 5 star tv ever. This one defeats it. This Lg tv is truly breathtaking. Regular hd cable is absolutely beautiful. Do Not believe other reviews. If you do not tinker with settings. I could see how someone may miss the sweet spot on this. This Needs to be set up. True motion needs to be off. Gamma 2.2 nr off etc..... These settings give you lots of flexibility with the picture. Colours "pop" literally. black levels have so much detail. This is the best picture I've ever seen on any tv. Including hd cable, Dolby vision, 4k, all are almost equal. Consumer Reports says its the best and So does Cnet. I agree. 5 stars all the way. I hope it's a reliable as my Pansonic has been. This is the first Lg product I've purchase. side note ** Also the Netflix app on this Tv is Excellent.**
