    Didnt have any speakers prior, just the tv. With soundbar there was a significant improvement. Sound quality seems decent for my open living room/kitchen. Only negative is the bluetooth for my phones music keeps disconnecting after a really short period of time when I turn on the auto on/auto off bluetooth setting.

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

    Got this as an open box item remnant from Boxing Week sale. Easy setup but the subwoofer did not provide the needed thump that I was expecting. Also, the sub would cut out from time to time while playing a movie. Quite disappointed with the sound despite being a 5.1. Returned the item despite the reduced price.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

    Good sound but Atmos is useless but the reason I returned was that the display can't be switched off which o found distracting. Spent hours trying find a solution but this is a know LG issue.
