LifeProof FRĒ Fitted Hard Shell Case for iPhone 12 Pro Max - Black

We bought the product yesterday and came with the torn box, open case, crushed rubber and missing accessory, we were very disappointed with service.

I am a huge fan of lifeproof, but this... this is disappointing. I spent close to $100 for this phone case. 1.) The screen protector has little dots all in it, which makes the screen hard to see. 2.) Due to the plastic screen protector, it would never recognize my face for face id. 3.) The plastic camera cover on the back continuously became blurry. 4.) the rubber seal inside moves around and pops out when i clean it. 5.) all plastic coverings ended up popping out within the first week. 6.) The sound dial on the side broke, So I have to break the case apart to turn my phone to vibrate. 7.) Last but not lease, the charging port immediately broke.

Unfortunately this case does not live up to the legacy of previous models. I have owned every version going back to the beginning of the series and am disappointed with many aspects. Most importantly is the fact that it does not work with wireless charging, neither the older QI, which has worked with previous versions, or MagSafe which was purchased for use with this new iPhone and case combination. If you do a quick search thru their own website feedback you we see this is a widespread issue, and LifeProof continues to state that it will work. Long time customer, who may have just purchased his last Lifeproof product.

I bought it to take on a trip to Hawaii. The intent was to take pictures/videos while snorkeling. Shortly after submerged, the case would start filling with water. I made sure it was sealed, repositioned the little rubber piece, and retried it multiple times. Every time it would leak. A $10 plastic sack on a necklace from Amazon worked better than this $80 life proof case. I would love a refund, but it’s probably too late now. Aside from it not being waterproof, it sucks to use outside of the water. The plastic covering on the screen makes it annoying to type. I recommend searching elsewhere for a case.

I've owned many LifeProof cases in the past and have sworn by them for their quality, strength, waterproof capabilities, and longevity. This garbage they are putting out now is sad. I don't know if they were bought out or something but this is junk now. The waterproof and strength is prob still there but the single most important part of being able to use and touch your screen with ease is gone. The screen protector part is loose, loud, crunchy, doesn't sit flush against the screen so you have to push super hard to type and every digit pops with loud noise bc the plastic is so loose. Very disappointed.
