- Total Disappointment- November 13, 2021
My WiFi 5 Velop is awesome at our cabin so assumed the new WiFi 6 version would blow me away. NOT, total disappointment and the system is back in the box waiting for a possible firmware fix. Child node fights with parent node so speeds are terrible. Also could not place child node more than 40ft from parent or would not connect but even then it had issues staying connected and even closed by smart devices were still connecting to the parent node, not the child just a few feet away. Again, hoping a future firmware will fix these issues and would return this set if I could but waited to long to install, I would not recommend this product at this time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical about any Linksys wifi since my previous experiences have not been great. However set up was simple. When opening the box the instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow. Setting up the second node was just as easy. One of the things I liked was that the second node also had hardwire ports as well allowing me to dedicate bandwidth to that node and not simply relying on the mesh tech. One thing I can say is that since I have had this installed NONE of my 93 IoT devices have had any issues. Previous MESH routers dont seem to have the processing power for that many devices. This one seems to be working great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was needing better Wifi coverage throughout my home and the Linksys Atlas Pro 6 has definitely helped with that. The system was very easy and straightforward to set up. I can control it through my Linksys app or Alexa, giving access to those I want to who are in my home. I have full coverage throughout the house and yard. Yes, I like sitting outdoors and using my laptop, so it actually does get used outside. It works great for downloading movies/files and my son commented on the amazing speed difference when playing video games. I have had no problems with it dropping service. I highly recommend this Wifi system!
