  • No a very good router/software ..

The route is fast for browsing, but if you want to streaming at 4K or HD it is not so good. Also, the DHCP table is all messed up. It does not recognize the devices property.. It is really hard to control them since you do not know after a while which device is in your network. Unfortunately, Linksys does not update this device anymore to fix these software bug/issues.

  • False advertising on Bandwidth Usage Feature

So living in the country we have a data cap on internet, needless to say with two 2 kids who deny using up data and blame each other for the usage, we needed a router that has a built in data monitoring feature. And we bought this one because it said in the final paragraph of the overview for this router.... " Network Map gives you a convenient visual overview of all the devices on the network, providing key information such as online status, signal strength, and bandwidth usage"... Well, after setting it up and not locating the " Internet Usage" feature and then a couple of calls to geek Squad and then Linksys support, we were told it doesn't have this feature ! So then why does it say it on the website ? So what a hassle, packed it back up and brought it back to Bestbuy, who were very helpful in finding us another router that has the features we are looking for. Bestbuy advised that the statement of features of the product is done by the manufacturer ( Linksys) So it seems like a nice router for the short amount of time we used it, but if you are looking for parental monitoring on individual data usage, do not buy it ...
