  • Wi-Fi became unusable after 6 weeks

    I understood that it was a refurbished product, but I became a little more dubious when it arrived in brown box, loose inside with no wrapping to keep it from being damaged in shipping. It seemed to work for about 6 weeks, then we were having intermittent Wi-Fi issues throughout the house. It did not occur to me right away that this was the culprit, as there were issues in several areas serviced by other Linksys Velop units, and rebooting the units seemed to fix the issue for a while. It was not until I unplugged this unit that the Wi-Fi issues disappeared. I want to be clear that it is this particular refurbished unit that is the issue, I am extremely happy with the other Linksys units I purchased new from BestBuy, my only gripe with those is that the app is not as easy or intuitive as some of its mesh Wi-Fi competitors.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

    Ordered this as an add on to my Velop mesh system. Price was right and it arrived very quickly and other than the packaging it was like brand new! Worked beautifully!
