Not Really Impressed

I bought these because I work from home on the phone, so I use these 9 hours a day. I bought them in August and already the microphone is gone, for any of my students to hear me I need to put the microphone up near the band on my head. Unfortunately, I am not impressed that now I need to go out and buy a new pair.

Will not work - should be plug and play. I have performed many google searches trying to find a solution - all I can find is other people with unsolved issues. I have windows 8.1 64bit

Volume Control Problems

The headset has a pretty decent quality of sound, however, between the rocker button getting stuck and cranking the volume way up, or way down on its own.. and a bad connection at the USB jack, which also bottoms the volume (and keeps trying to lower it) I'm not sure I'd recommend this headset to buy.

A+ Great choice

Comfortable! Sound & microphone clarity is exceptional! No line static screeching. 1-2 second delay. Volume & mute options work like a dream. Very satisfied! to setup on Windows 7. Trustworthy brand. Long cord.

Great Heatset

Great sound. Easy to use. Love the mute and volume control on the wire.

Microphone Volume is faint and large hum evident

I bought this model to replace an older Logitech Headset that was excellent Sadly I had broken the cord so the mike no longer worked. This one is very poor. I have maxed out the volume in control panel devices but the audio is quite faint and there is a large hum evident Of course since it is Best buy I can not return it since it has been opened I don't recommend this set.

wasted time and energy

Didn't work out of the box. Tried it on two computers. Tried it in every USB slot on the two computers. Went into the sound setup of the two computers and made sure the settings were for the headset. Still no sound. Tried to contact customer service on the Logitech website. Impossible if you're not willing to "register" with them. Confirmed the input/output wasn't on "mute." Scrolled through user websites to try to get some clues. I don't know why this product has received positive reviews. I'm not happy about having to go through the process of returning. I guess the manufacturer doesn't quality control before zipping the product into it's clamshell packaging. Grrrrr.

Great Headset for the price

I have to say that the sound quality is great an all, and the mic works just fine too. However wearing this headset can be very uncomfortable sometimes, specially when you use them for more than an hour or so, but overall, I haven't any other technical problems with this headset.

Headset happy

I have owned these now for a year or more, I am quite pleased. They have great playback sound quality and the microphone works great, it is a little sensitive which may require some tweaking. These are great value for the price.

Did it's job

I've had this headset for just over an year now, and the wires have started to wrap up in a twist and the connection is breaking away from the base of the headset. The wrapping of the wires never affected the sound in any way though. I used this headset as a cheap alternative for gaming, and I must say it worked really well. I would recommend this for the casual user who isn't doing a lot of work everyday.

Great sound quality, but HURTS MY EARS!

The sound quality is quite excellent, both input and output, but the overall design just kills my ears if i use it for more that 5 minutes. Overall, i would not recommend this product.

Works great, but...

This headset works great. The sound quality is excellent, save for the fact that I'm not an audiophile. It's great for listening to music; the sounds come out nice and clear. Works pretty well as a gaming headset too. The mic works fine, it just tends to be VERY sensitive, picking up any surrounding noises. The way it cups your ear may make it a little uncomfortable, with it being very warm and all. I personally didn't like it at first, but I've managed to adapt. However, that's when it was working. Unfortunately, I accidentally clipped the USB connector and now the device can't even be detected on my system! So, with any electronic device, be careful with it.

Comfort Erm, Okay....

I quite like how this headset and mic combo works, sounds and the quality of its recording of voice, etc. However, it HURTS MY EARS something horrible Not the sound, but the physical structure. After 30 min of wearing it, my ears hurt Not the lobes or outer part of my ear, but the part right near the earhole, and almost down into the inner ear itselfPerhaps it's just the physical structure of my the heads in my family my brother also feels the pain, but this comfort headset is anything but, unless you're using it for 10 min at a time.I'm very disappointed at my purchase in a long-term sense, because purposely exposing myself to pain is something I don't wish to do in front of my computer

The mic was working great until it started falling apart. The end of the USB port, the metal part, came off and I was unable to use it any longer. The mic was great while it was working, but even the volume control casing fell apart.

I bought one of these for myself as well as my wife. The sound was good and the mic worked fine. Unfortunately the cables started breaking away from the USB casing, just hanging there causing it not to be recognized by the pc at times. My headset earpiece separated from the extender so i had to tape it on there, and BOTH of them stop working after so long when plugged in, so you either have to reboot, or pull it out and plug it back in so the pc recognizes it again, worked fine at first, only started doing this the past 2 months. Just seems like shotty workmanship for logitech, they are usually pretty good....

Great budget USB headset

For what it is a low-cost USB headset this is perfect. Not really intended for listening to music or anything like that, but still these will act as passable headphones. For a chat headset, the mic picks up perfectly clear for any sort of gaming ventriloteamspeak or skype use. Can be a bit sensitive to outside noise, but for what you pay you get plenty more.
