- Stylish and comfortable keyboard- March 21, 2021
This keyboard is very useful, all the commands and key functions work seamlessly with windows, plus they are placed in a very handy way, like the calculator key, settings, volume and search are ones that I use the most and have helped me a lot, it's not heavy and stays in place, feel like a great quality and one of the best features it's that it connects to your computer/phone via Bluetooth so you don't have to be dealing with an extra connector on your USB ports. The only thing is that it doesn't have the little supports (keyboard legs) at the bottom so you can lift up/angle your keyboard, but besides that this is a great, reliable keyboard.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- pretty darn good, minus a key feature- October 16, 2019
Let me start by saying this keyboard is definitely one to consider. When connecting my laptop to external monitors, it becomes inconvenient when my laptop is closed and I have to constantly stop my workflow to open it just to type. When looking for a wireless keyboard, it needed to have two things: removable batteries and bluetooth connection. This keyboard comes with bluetooth 5.0 , and in my time using it, I am very pleased. There appears to be no lag when typing and the keys have a satisfying amount of key travel when pressed; They do not perform like those on the macbook pro 2016 on forward. Having bluetooth also means that you do not take away ports that would be dedicated to the receiver. Another benefit of this keyboard are the removable batteries. I dont fancy rechargeable batteries because normally you either have to replace the whole device due to degradation over time or take the device in to a special repair place. I think having removable aaa batteries eliminates this issue by allowing the user to replace them as they see fit, and I am always for pro consumer moves. Overall, I am pleased with this keyboard. My only gripe surrounding this product would be with the layout of the keys. There is no backlighting or keys dedicated to controlling screen brightness of connected devices. For some reason, Microsoft implemented keys dedicated to the calculator, notification panel, and windows media player. In my opinion, these arent very useful keys and is a missed opportunity to utilize these keys for more important tasks.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Problems maintaining connection- December 4, 2020
I desperately want to love this keyboard. It’s great when it’s working, and I love how it feels when typing. The problem is that when I step away or stop typing for any more than 5 minutes, it takes at least 15-20 seconds to “wake up” and start entering into whatever I’m typing in. I have only been using it for a few weeks and this has been an issue the whole time, and appears to be getting worse. In the last few days, it has starting not waking up at all and just seems completely disconnected until I go through the pairing process again, which is just not workable. I’ve replaced the batteries but no change. Very disappointed. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
- Good quality, but not a good fit for me- July 30, 2021
I was very excited when I got this, but typing on it wasn't for me. The key layout is not what I'm used to. Don't let that sway you away though. It is probably the same as other Microsoft products like their Surfaces or laptops. It is just not what I'm used to. I typed on IBM and Lenovo stuff for a long time. Right now, I am using a Logitech, which is impressively close to what I'm used to. Otherwise, it is a great keyboard with sturdy quality and spacious keys. The travel is enough to feel confident that you pressed a key, unlike mushy keys on other portable keyboards. I would recommend for most people, but try the key layout before purchasing if you can.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Working From Home- June 1, 2020
I like the feel of the keys when typing. It has a smaller footprint than other keyboards even with the numeric keys on the right which I like. I love the fact that there is NO dongle. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that infrequently the keyboard will show only as "paired" in the bluetooth settings on Win10 and I have to hit some keys before it shows as "connected" again and starts typing. So effectively again infrequently there is a very slight delay in typing starting. At times I do have 3 bluetooth devices connected at once to my laptop. I am still very happy with the keyboard and would recommend it.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
