    I bought this computer for my 18th birthday thinking it was going to be a steal.. until it came with a HUGE crack running across the entire screen. I went to best buy to try to get it fixed and since it was sold by a marketplace seller I cannot get any help from them apparently and to issue a refund I have to resend it to the seller and pay for shipping myself. How in the world can best buy justify selling an 800$ computer with a huge crack on the screen? This is absolutely ludicrous and what was supposed to be a great gift for my birthday has now turned into a huge pain in the butt. Thanks BestBuy and dear buyer do not make the same mistake I did.

    It's always on so it starts the second I open it. The battery life is insane it just keeps on going for two days without a problem. Comparing it to my surface pro 6 with Intel i5 this thing is super faster. Some apps are not working but emulation is on point. It's super cool to be able to connect two 4k monitors without noticing a difference in performance.

    First, regarding the service and the quality of the product delivery - it looks like new. Absolutely clean, no scratches, fingerprints etc. As expected, this is what "factory recertified" means. All proper Microsoft labels confirming the status of the recertified product. So, do not be concerned about this part, you are getting like-new device. The warranty status shows the warranty only till September but it seems this can be fixed by contacting Microsoft support and providing them the sales receipt. This is the 1st gen Pro X, not the current one, but the difference is not that significant. And, yes, you can update it to Windows 11, I have done it successfully. As for the product itself, do your own research. Personally I got it as a toy, I hope to use it mainly as tablet for running Linux apps via WSL2, not as laptop replacement. And make sure you understand what you are getting into with SQ1 processor, which is ARM. For the sale price I think it is a good deal, but I would certainly not pay the full retail price for it myself.
