FEEL THE VIBE! The Monitor 50 is the smaller of the two bookshelf models in the Monitor Series, and the usual rectangular cabinet profile has been replaced with a unique and striking square cabinet. The Monitor 50 has a single set of high-quality gold-plated binding posts that provide connection to the amplifier. The Monitor 50 features HiVe®II (High Velocity, Low Noise Reflex Port) technology for an improved transient response and tighter bass, due to smoother airflow. Whilst the cabinet is rear ported, the Monitor 50’s output is well-damped, which allows the speaker to be placed close to a wall without loss in sound quality. Additionally, the Monitor 50 features high overall impedance (8 ohms), which makes the speaker easy to drive with lower power amplifiers.
