It's a good watch, but it doesn't quite meet the mark for effective use as a workout tracker. For one you have to choose the workout app otherwise it doesnt register activity, elevated heart rate, duration, etc. It only tells you calories burned during that time not overall . And lastly the battery life is poor. If you use it to track your workout, change music during workout and overall call/messaging notifications the rest of the day chances are the battery won't make it to the night. Basically its a nice sporty looking smart watch. If that's your aim go for it but if you want a fitness tracker stick to fitbit or something to the like.

This is the only smart watch I've owned but i love it and wear it everyday. I use it for the calendar reminder sync, alerts including texts and calls, the pedometer and stop watch. Thats about the extent of my use but I also love the different watch faces you can get from the Facer app. I'm a bit of a nerd and love the game themes. I just wish there was a way to keep the backlight and full face on all the time. You have to wake the watch up by flicking your wrist or touching the screen or button. I would sacrifice battery life at the cost of charging the watch in the early evening if I could keep the watch fully on at all times.

So, I come from a line of typically using the Fitbit series and GARMIN series trackers. I was excited about the design features of the Huawei Watch 2 knowing that it had a gorilla glass outplate, plus some cool tracking features. However, the app software is not developed, and when I tried using it - the first week was no problem. It seemed to track my fitness capabilities well, but then It started messing up. There is no way that I am doing a 45 minute workout and only burning 14 cals. I'm not sure what happened since the first week it seemed to go well. At any rate, for price, Id just rather buy the new Fitbit Iconic.
