  • Solid tripod at a good price

Upon receiving this tripod I was pleased to see the included travel pouch and noticed that it feels very solid. It holds the camera sturdy and includes a level so you can be sure about your photos. My only complaint is that one of the extending legs was stuck and wouldn't extend so I magically became a Greek god and used 10x the strength of a normal man to free the leg. After this ordeal it works just fine and moves smoothly now.

  • Broke after 2nd use
Reviewed by NS Hiker - January 18, 2017

Bought this tripod 2 months ago. This product is so flimsy that it broke after 2nd use. It couldn't withstand even in moderate wind, the legs are so thin that they just gave in. The tripod was only holding my cell phone, not even a point & shoot camera. It's not repairable because there are no screws, nuts or bolts. It's past the 30 days return time Best Buy won't do anything about it. So don't buy this product and save yourself the time.

I've had this Tri-pod for 3 years now, I used it for amateur photography and video making. Right out of the box I noticed that it wasn't ever 'flat' for my camera to sit on. The mount at the top is always slightly tilted to the right so your shots are never matching the horizon. Secondly, the legs were not equally made, one seemed slightly smaller and never locked into its proper position. after a few months of use, the cork padding in between the camera mount and head ripped off and caked my camera in glue and cork dust. (I also forgot to mention how unstable it is when taking a photo, the head mount shakes slightly. I have had countless issues with pieces just screwing off during use and most recently the mounting piece sliding right off of the tri-pod when I picked it up. Over all not impressed and very much not worth the money. 2 stars because It was atleast useful for a time.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
