- Overall a fun game- March 12, 2021
As a follow-up to Persona 5, it falls a bit short in a few places. It lacks some of the heart and style that went into Persona 5, and in places, it feels a bit like different drafts got chopped together without proper blending and like some corners were definitely cut. As a game in general, though, it's very good. The gameplay is fast and pretty intuitive, with enough variation in combat and HP/SP management that you aren't going to fall into a button-mashing fugue state. The characters are, thankfully, as loveable as they were in P5. The ending gets a bit 'second verse, same as the first' at times, but as a whole the story is well handled.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great Action RPG sequel to the original Persona 5- March 27, 2021
Persona 5 Strikers is a great addition to the series. The gameplay, the story, characters, new locations, new mechanics, the music, are completely great. Something that makes it even better is that is just not a simple musou, its actually more Persona than a typical musou game. The only flaws I see is the limited things you can actually do on the new locations and that is not a direct sequel from the enhanced version Persona 5 Royal but from Persona 5 from 2017. Persona 5 Strikers is a great musou game and I totally recomend it to buy it. PS: The game can run at 60 stable fps on the base PS4, so it is not completely necessary to worry about that.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- New take on the Persona 5 franchise- March 15, 2021
A sequel of sorts to Persona 5. Persona 5 Strikers has the whole team of Thieves returning a few months after the events of the Persona 5. This game plays a lot differently to P5. More like a Dynasty Warriors/Kingdom Hearts game than the normal turn based rpg of the original. Some people might be turned off by the chaos of live action with many enemies on the screen. Oddly enough it works well. Easy to learn but still has a bit of variety in how you can attack, chain together combos, and use Personas to attack. If you played the first game or Royal then this is a must have if you want to continue the story. Give or take 40+ hour game.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
