    I WAS an absolute fan of these lights and have 4 of them. They worked as promised until August 26 when whether they were on or off all 4 lights would switch all to white and begin flashing simultaneously. Through the Philips hue app, Google home app or mini, I would turn them off or reset the colour and within 1 minute they would all switch to white flashing. The only way to stop them was to unplug them. I reached out to Philips through app and that is when the international horrendous, botched customer service experience began. It is now October 19 and there has been numerous "sincere apologies" but I still own 4 completely now dead lily outdoor lights. I have troubleshooted with them and under their suggestion, I reset the hue bridge, checked for timers from third party apps and then was asked to delete them from app and after that they are not turning on at all and there are no devices found even trying to reconnect via serial numbers. This was beginning of September. It took us over a week to locate receipt which was thankfully ereceipt (thank you Best Buy!) which was only delay on our part and that should've been end of story. Troubleshooting through app you are contacting UK who then told me to contact Philips through social media so I direct messaged through Twitter and made me jump through proverbial hoops until October 1st until warranty ticket was issued. Email came with 1-800-555-0050 and was told someone would contact me shortly. I called this number October 9th and was told there was delay because I should've reached out to Canada first. App and social media are both UK and Canada support is actually Puerto Rico so how is a customer to know this? They assured me on Oct. 9th that new lights would be expedited process. I contacted them again on Thanksgiving and there was error that they had to correct because they had processed 3 lights not 4 and would send me tracking number. On October 18th, I received email from Purolator to print shipping label to return lights to Markham, Ontario. I also received direct message via twitter from UK apologizing for their delay but happy that their records indicate I have replacements! I also received email from Philips support Canada asking me to let them know when lights arrive and how many I received. Zi am still not hopeful as shouldn't they know and they never did send me tracking info. The one thing I asked for in all of this as a measure of good faith was to activate new 2 year warranty once replacements lights arrive considering how long warranty replacement has taken. They replied promptly my warranty would end with original lights December 2020. I have no confidence in this product or company. Hope this review will spare someone else.

    Installed the Lily starter kit prior to Halloween and really elevated the look of our house for the holiday. Unlimited colour options and a growing number of third party apps mean CHristmas is going to be very cool this year. Easy to install and use. Will be buying additional lamps to add before Christmas. Going to be way easier and more fun than stringing lights up the old way.
