- Surprisingly powerful & affordable toothbrush!- February 19, 2021
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this toothbrush for free as part of a product test but I actually love it & it has replaced my other two toothbrushes I own. I love the creamy white color I was sent & that it comes with a case & has rechargeable batteries - I hate having to change batteries all the time so I love that it is easily rechargeable. I have been using it for 2 weeks so far 2-3x a day & haven’t had to charge it once though! It’s surprisingly powerful for a battery operated toothbrush & it gets my teeth very clean. I was previously using the Quip toothbrush & this is far better, I like how sleek it is & easy to hold too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. My only complaint is the case it comes with, at first I thought that it’s a little difficult to get the toothbrush out of it, you kind of have to work a finger under the “neck” part of the brush head & pull up because it faces down in the case... but then I saw the picture on the inside of the case’s cover & if you press at the bottom of the toothbrush it comes out very easily with no effort! A little odd but I still love everything else so I’m going to keep using it. I still can’t get over the price either! Very affordable.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Hello Future- December 21, 2020
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly I'd like to state that I received this product on time. Let's review! An quick start guide and instruction manual is provided with this product and I'm pumped that its rechargeable. It comes in four different colors, I have black. I have to give major props to Phillip's on not only creating a more futuristic style toothbrush but a lightweight electric, rechargeable toothbrush. Its thin which gives me the feel of holding my normal manual toothbrush. The case for it is also the charging station making this toothbrush winner. This is the first electric toothbrush I've ever used and I'm so very honored and impressed. It also fits easily in my toiletry bag. The toothbrush heads are replaceable and can be ordered online on their website right to your. Here's my wins for this product: Afforable, lightweight, compact, rechargeable, clean, light indicator, futuristic head design, Lastly I'd like to point out that I can reach my back teeth with a more precise cleaning. I rinse it after each use give it couple light taps to remove to much moisture and reinsert it into its case. I enjoyed using this product immensely it was fun and yet informative. BREATHING HOLES ARE A HUGE PLUS! I received this product for free for testing.
- Just Another Electric Toothbrush- March 7, 2021
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of good things to say about the One Toothbrush from Sonicare, but I can’t help but feel as though it was only created as a cash grab so that Phillips could participate in the trend of monthly subscription products. Personally I don’t care for subscription services because I feel like they increase the cost of a product, they create waste (by sending out a package every few months when all of the items could have easily been sold in one box), and they are designed to generate extra sales when the customer either forgets about the subscription, or simply fails to quit timely. They are like gym memberships. The customer continues to pay long after they stop using the product. That being said, the toothbrush does work well. I appreciate the small size, the month long battery life, the modern USB-C charging port, the countdown timer, the double pulse after each 30 seconds, and I absolutely LOVE that the timer pauses when you turn the brush off mid cycle - so that you can spit and then resume brushing (without flinging toothpaste all over your clothes and the bathroom mirror). I also like that the handle has two small feet which prevents the brush from rolling and ensures the head is raised off of any surface that the brush may be set upon. Most importantly though, it leaves teeth feeling smooth and clean. There are, however, a few downsides to the brush. While the package comes with a short charging cable, it does not come with a wall adapter. In order to charge the brush, you will need to use a charging brick you already own. The back of the head is smooth - instead of having a ribbed texture to help clean the cheeks and tongue. The bottom of the brush is rounded - so it cannot stand up on end. (Luckily, it is about the size of a standard manual toothbrush - so it can be set into a regular cup style toothbrush holder. See the attached pictures for examples.) The brush feels under powered at times. Occasionally it feels as though the power level fluctuates, which is something I haven't noticed with any of the other electric toothbrushes I have tested (Burst, Quip, Boka, Sonicare, etc). The travel case feels cheap and is unnecessarily large. I wouldn’t be surprised if the flap style lid eventually breaks off (after being folded open and closed repeatedly). It would have been nice if the carry case could affix to the bathroom mirror (like Quip brushes do), but instead it must lie flat. The case is also a rubbery texture that seems to attract fuzz and toothpaste residue. Because the Phillips One brush is so new, I have not been able to find any generic brush heads available - but, because Sonicare brushes are so popular - I anticipate someone will eventually sell generic brush heads online (which will eliminate the need of the Brush head Subscription). Thankfully Phillips is currently selling replacement heads without the subscription, but it is frustrating that each replacement head costs more than a full size manual toothbrush. A replacement head is less waste than a manual toothbrush, but still costs more. The One Brush is a decent, reasonably priced electric toothbrush, but it does little to stand out from all of the many other brushes that are nearly identical. I can't imagine too many people actually regretting the purchase, but personally - I would choose the Quip Electric Toothbrush instead (and would buy generic replacement heads instead of signing up for their subscription service). No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
- My mouth feels happy- December 23, 2020
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toothbrush free as part of a product test. I really like that this toothbrush is rechargeable. No replacing batteries, just plug it up. The way the bristles are angled helps get into all the crevices and always have full contact with the tooth like it is just giving it a big hug! After that hug your teeth feel super clean. You know the feeling where you lick your teeth and as your tongue glides swiftly across and you nod your head in complete satisfaction. That's a good brush. If I had to change anything, I would make the bristle a little more firmer and that would make this brush 5 stars for me.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Simple, yet effective.- December 23, 2020
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using this. The vibration of the brush itself is not crazy powerful, (which I like). And noticed you dont have to push hard on your teeth while in use. The head pops right off easily to replace, there's a rubbery feel to the handle that makes it easy to hold, a nice case to hold it in that's great for travel, and a timer to know when your two minutes are done. My teeth felt cleaner than with my manual brush. Came with a USB to charge but I havent even had to use it yet, the battery in it is great. I highly recommend this to someone that wants an electric toothbrush that doesn't want a bunch of extra fluff or a large price tag.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
