DEAD PIXEL-UPDATE

Called Philips and it was easy to get in their line but mind you they act really slow. It's been 13 days and they have not taken any action. BTW I'm doing a series of follow ups with Philips. Very unreliable company for claiming warranty or replacement with TV's.

Hey sometime Size means something !

I have several Philips TV sets at home and I must say I am pleased with the PHILIPS 65PFL5922 UHDTV. I find the overall look of the TV nice. Having said that, the description is incorrect, as stated on the Philips website, this is a "5000 series Chromecast built-in UHDTV", not a smartTV, so no integrated Apps (you would need a Roku for example or the Philips Blu-Ray BDP7502 which is great btw) ... BestBuy needs to change the name. Setup was fairly easy, with enough connections for all my devices through my Marantz Receiver. So bottom line this is, for the price, a really nice TV. The 4K upgrade works great, the Setup at MOVIE (usually the best choice) makes the image real an natural, I tested the sound and it's pretty good (but can't compete with any surround systems ... not TV can) . What made it loose a Star ? ... The Macro-Dimming ... should be able to switch it off ... can make some scenes too dark. But otherwise, I'm really happy with this and as far as I'm concerned, it's a good Price/Quality/Feature UHDTV

DEAD PIXEL

Got this tv online and it arrived on time. When I turned on the TV there was big block spot in the screen around 4 inches in diameter. Called Geek Squad because I bought a 1 year plan with them. Unreliable company, they immediately transferred me to Philips. I called Philips and still waiting for their decision
