Philips Series 7000 Wet & Dry Cordless Rotary Shaver - White/ Grey

  • Great rotary shaver

from Hamilton, ON on February 20, 2019

I needed to replace a 20-year-old foil shaver, and decided to go rotary, mostly for the much quieter operation since I like to shower & shave before bed. This was named as Philips' best, using the same mechanism as their top-of-the-line series 9000, but cheaper. They say it takes a few weeks for your skin to adapt when switching between foil & rotary, and it does feel weird at first, but it works really well. I have only light beard growth, mostly around the mouth and chin, but this shaver handles the curvy areas much faster than foil, without any pulling. It's not as good as foil under the nose, but that's the tradeoff. Very happy with the product.

  • not worth the money for me

from MontrĂŠal, QC on October 29, 2018

I purchased this shaver from Bestbuy thinking that it takes care of skin sensitivity. After 1 month of usage, and after taking more than 5 minutes on each shave, i always had hairs that were untouched and clearly showing. The company sent me replacement blades to try. These ones ended up making a little more noise compared to the original blades, and they didn't make a difference, The company couldn't care less and said if you don't like it, return it in store. I ended up asking for the 5000 series Shaver from Philips, and its as if i upgraded !! It was quicker and less irritation during the shave, but with some irritation after shave. Don't trouble yourself with this product !

I purchased this Shaver in 2016. Great difficulty in ordering the replacement Cutter Heads. If ordering for Canada, the Shaver Head is described as SH70/63. It took two phone calls just to get this reference number. It is strangely "not listed" in the accompanying Manual. Cost of replacing these heads is 3/4 of the value of the Razor as I ended up ordering it through the States. A very good product but fails miserably with access to replacement parts!

  • Nice shave... little flaws.

from Guelph, On on February 2, 2017

Bought it in the USA under model 7300. The main difference is that the 7300 includes their cleaning system. The shaver is mainly for guys that do have sensitive skin like myself. If you have a real thick beard then look to another shaver. The cleaning system works very well but the solution does cost money. I just bought mine about a month ago and it does give a close shave and for me does not irritate my skin. Remeber that an electric shaver is a time saver and for each person any shaver may or may not give a great shave.

  • Used in store

from Ajax, ON on December 25, 2016

I bought one of these from the Ajax store as a Christmas gift. Opened it on Christmas morning to discover it was broken and used (full of hair). I find this very disappointing and somewhat disgusting. I will be returning to the Ajax store on Boxing day to have a discussion with the Manager. As far as the product it self...I will have to wait until I can get a replacement (NEW) unit before I can try it.

    good shaver

  • Amazing shaver!

from Longueuil, QC on September 16, 2016

This is my third Philips electric shaver, and this is the best so far! I had a 8894XL that was top of the line at the time (2002) This one is lighter, the heads are more flexible, and gives a quicker shave (half the time than my old one!) And perfect for my sensitive skin! 50 minutes of shave with one charge is not too shabby, but I had 100+ minutes on my previous model (must be the lighter part I guess...) All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase!

  • Amazing Electric Shaver!

from Saskatoon, SK on March 21, 2016

Finally, an electric shaver that works the way I intend it to. One that gives a quick/close shave with very little irritation. Also, the battery on this thing is incredible. I've had this for almost 3 months now and still haven't had to recharge it. Sure this shaver is more expensive than most, but definitely worth it for the quality of shave.

Great Shaver. It took a few shaves but now I would say it's as good as a blade shaver. Fast and efficient. I highly recommend it.
