Great for PC, dead for PS4

I'm not a PC master racer. I do have a PC but it's not for my gaming. I like sitting and lying on my couch with a controller in hand. When I saw this, I got excited and bought it for both my homebased job and my PS4. Sadly when I used it for PS4, the volume was 50% than normal. I've searched online for fix but nope, that's just how it is. Apparently, USB headsets don't go well with the Sony Playstation 4.

Headset? haha

Probably the worst headset I've ever purchased. Hear me out. So the intake of the volume coming out the back of the "isolated" or even the vented ear piece plays through the microphone louder than your voice on all settings. You can literally put your mic output settings on all sources to like 1% and play a youtube video with the volume bar as low as you can get with sound, and my friends will still hear the youtube video or game volume louder than me. No matter how you adjust sensitivity settings with voice software, for example it can never fix the issue if its louder than your voice because your voice will always drop out first before the sound volume. This applies on any volume setting 1-100% mic to any ratio of speaker volume. Giving 3 stars based on the sound quality and the 7.1 driver is actually pretty lit, its comfy and looks innovative but the whole microphone part is completely non functional. could maybe get it to work if you taped a bunch of t shirts around the ear pieces to mute the sound, but my recommendation is don't spend this amount of money on a product you have to jerry rig. How do we have products in 2017 that dont perform their basic intended function for sale. When we already have headsets that have pulled it off years ago. Beats me. Get a different headset. Peace.

Cost effective

The sound quality is quite nice. The mic is crisp and clear compared to my last headset as described by my online friends. Relatively comfortable to wear after adjusting the elastic. A little upset about the lack of volume control attached to the headset. Have noticed a few audio glitches but this could be caused by the program I am using it with. Overall worth the purchase I'd reccomend to buy again.

Pros: -Cheap -Good surround sound -Very comfortable Cons: -Mic can pick up headset sounds easily -No in-line volume controller (I got used to manually doing it though) Comments: Some notable things I have noticed with audio is that on PC when surround is on the audio is crystal clear but when turned to "stereo" it is sub par but if I use the 3.5mm on my Wii U the audio is proper stereo and sounds nice. Overall I am beyond content with my purchase.

Great at first, then so so bad

At first I was really impressed! Surround sound was great and audio quality was too. But then I started to notice that the Audio stutters when playing games and this started getting worse every day. Plantronics support has nothing on the sort in their Knowledge base, and when you google it, you find links to support posts on Plantronics forums that have been removed... looks like they are trying to sweep the problem under the rug. This has been a big disapointment.
