Unique gaming experience (5 stars)

I've had this product for about a month now and it's a really cool experience. My favourite game is rush of blood so far, it's a must try. I have experienced some motion sickness but nothing too bad the graphics aren't the greatest and also there are ALOT of cords that come with it, I really hope they work on that but other then that the psvr was worth every dollar.

Motion Sickness

Beware if you get even a little bit of motion sickness. I had to return due to getting such bad motion sickness 5 minutes into a game. I was disappointed that it affected me so much.

PSVR Won Me Over

I've never been a fan of Playstation and all my console gaming the last 2 decades has been with Xbox. I loved the Kinect when it came out and it still is a shame that Microsoft let it die. I won a PS4 and was about to sell it but I started doing more research into VR (Hive/Oculus/etc). In the end I bought this PSVR bundle and I'm so glad I did (one thing I like and how PS kept the price point down was to reuse its old technology (PS Camera/Moves) to make it work). You need to try this. The games coming out are fantastic and really the PSVR offers the greatest immersive gaming experience. Hive and Oculus have better tracking (PSVR doesn't have room tracking...yet) and they have better controllers. But the PSVR has the best games (and any good PC VR games get ported) it also has the best wearable (120fps screen and very comfortable). I also like not having to worry about if a game won't be compatible (something that will also exist with PC VR). I like that they are continuing to innovate (Aim controller) but also keep using what they've created in the past (Move Controllers). Hopefully with this iteration we'll see some room tracking and finger tracking controllers. Until then, this technology is a great step in the right direction that will have you experiencing a whole new level of gaming! If you get this bundle, be sure to play the London Heist module (in VR Worlds). When you smoke the cigar make sure to blow (as the game will render smoke when you do). Then when you're riding shotgun in the the car, open car door and look behind you to see who is chasing you. My biggest gripe is that the camera isn't even as good as the Kinect 1.0... but it works absolutely fine for the PSVR. (If it had the same width as Kinect 2.0 there could be some great room tracking possibilities). TL;DR Buy this for an incredible gaming experience!

First Review of ANY product

So, I NEVER write a review about anything I ever buy; until now. I purchased the Sony PS4 VR bundle this past weekend, and my childhood dreams have finally been realized. I've always dreamt of what it would be like to actually be in the Star Wars universe and this weekend I had a chance to live it for the first time ever. Once I hooked up everything, I download the Star Wars Battlefront VR mission and it was AMAZING!! So first off, the hardware. Yes, there are a few steps to follow. No, it wasn't complicated. If you can change a lightbulb, you can hook this up. Some people say that there are a lot of steps, and it seemed confusing or complicated, but it really isn't. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to make my setup look clean and organized (I have a bit of OCD when it comes to cable management). Next, the fit. I played it for four hours straight, and have to say that it is remarkably comfortable. Sony really did a great job in the design and ergonomic design area. If I had to nit pick one thing, it would be that my goggles fog up when I put them on at first, but it quickly goes away. Maybe some very tiny fans to circulate air in there would help? As far as light leaking, I saw none. Now, I wasn't wearing my glasses mind you, but a friend of mine told me that if I did see some light leaking from wearing my glasses, to just turn down the light a bit in the room. You also need to make sure that the headset is sitting properly on your head or the video will be blurry, but its a slight minor adjustment, nothing more. As for people complaining of the "screen door" effect, I will say that when the screen is black, you see it. But once the game loads, and you begin to play, you forget all about it and don't see it anymore. If you are the type of person who likes to nit pick every little minute details, yeah, you'll see it. I'm the type of person who looks at the overall experience and not the minute technical details. The games. So far I've gotten VR Worlds, Rush of Blood, and EVE: Valkerie. I am truly awe inspired by these titles (My wife said she heard me screaming like a little girl from the basement to the second floor of our house when I was playing Rush of Blood). I downloaded the Star Wars Battlefront VR mission and also the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare VR mission and I can now truly better understand the vastness of space. I'm a child of the 70's and have always dreamed since I saw Tron of VR. I am living those dreams today. I am living my fantasies which were previously only a dream.Yes, we are in the infancy stages of this technology. Yes, if you buy one, you really are an early adopter. But, I can say, if you are the type of person who enjoys a great experience, dreams of being whisked away to another place and time, or just want to experience some of your childhood dreams, this is a phenomenal start.

Great Experience

The VR and its Bundle are fantastic and fun with quite alot of potential for new games, as such it comes with the VR Worlds disc. Though it won't keep you occupied for very long. The mini games don't take long to complete but are a interesting and fun experience while they last.

I like my VR

was so happy to get the bundle , very nice experience , the only negative point which I am sure one day PS will solve it , is the bunch of cables .

Next-level gaming

At a time when it feels like video games have plateaued in terms of their innovation, PS VR offers a really unique gameplay experience. Since acquiring this bundle a couple weeks ago, I've been addicted to finding and playing PS VR games. Unfortunately, VR Worlds won't keep you occupied for very long, with most of the mini-games included on the disc taking less than an hour to complete. But that doesn't take away from the incredible potential of this hardware, which fits comfortably and feels like it was built with quality in mind. Here's hoping Sony and third-party game developers give this technology the backing it deserves.

Great first gen VR

I picked up the Bundle on Friday (mid February), Resident Evil 7 and Downloaded Dirt Rally. What an amazing experience. Although the quality is grainy and it lowers certain texture quality in a game like Dirt Rally, it is an experience like nothing else. As far as motion sickness, the first time I tried Dirt Rally, I could barely make it through 2 races. The second day I tried it, I took some Gravol and had no motion sickness during about 5 hours of play. On the third day after a lonnnng Gravol induced sleep, I played without any Gravol and was able to play for 6 hours with no motion sickness at all. It appears that I have gotten my VR legs. Other experiences were awesome such as the 360 video's and TV shows, and playing games in cinema mode. Many of my friends have asked me if it was worth it. For a guy like me who has anticipated VR for a long time it is 100% the money. For people who expect it to be totally polished and have a lot of grade A titles like Resident evil, you should maybe wait.
