  • you cant just use any Receiver... these need big power

    these are FANTASTIC loudspeakers if you give them BIG wattage!... they need a minimum 250watts RMS to shine. 150watts or any Receiver WILL NOT DO! Dont waste your money if you cant afford to give these a big integrated amplifier or power amplifier!

    The wattage requirements are high for these, so don't even think about hooking them up to any 5.1/7.1 reciever. I have the hooked up to a behringer class d power amp at 500w per side just to drive the subwoofers. And 2 other class A B power amps bridged for 560 w per side to make them really come to life. Best used with an aditional DAC / pre amp. I bought them on sale too, had no idea what I was getting my self into. Now I'm more then 2 grand in it on top of the cost of the speakers just to power them correctly. All worth it though
