  • Don't buy this mouse

I have never used a mouse like this one. Even if you click once, it double clicks by itself. It's so weird and random. It doesn't happen every time, but it happens all the time. I can't figure out why it's like that.

How tough is it? You plug the USB receiver into your PC and turn the mouse on. Simple, eh? Not if it's the Rapoo 7100P. Windows doesn't recognize the USB device. Well, that's not in the ridiculous setup instructions, but, hey, whatever, I've been a developer for 25 years, so that's easy - go to the website, download the driver, install it, and reboot. Problem solved? No, because it's the RaPoo 7100P. I have to manually install the driver in the Device Manager. Fixed? No, because it's the RaPOO 7100P. Windows recognizes the USB device, but the useless driver software tells me no device is connected, so I have to download pairing software from the website. Install the pairing software, reboot, follow the steps in their pairing software, and the ____ thing STILL doesn't work! Holy ____, it's a freaking USB mouse, how difficult is it to write s/w and drivers to communicate with it? Apparently very freaking difficult because my raPOO 7100P still doesn't work. Absolutely useless.
