  • Mushy Clicks
Verified BuyerReviewed by JakeW - November 6, 2020

I bought this mouse thinking it was a Deathadder v2 but wireless. Well, it is... but it's worse somehow. Let me explain. The clicks are mushy. I know Razer has only recently implemented optical switches into their peripherals, but this mouse has some seriously unsatisfying clicks- bad enough that I returned the mouse because of it. Also, this is completely subjective but the lack of RGB around the scroll wheel is off-putting. It's something that I know most people would consider stupid, and probably rightfully so, but I miss the look of the wired Deathadder V2. Most people will probably consider this an upgrade. I can't personally because of how bad the clicks are.

  • One of the best Deathadders yet
Verified BuyerReviewed by ThirdeYe - March 1, 2021

Excellent, comfortable mouse. Slightly more light than older Deathadders, but a few grams heavier than the wired V2. Uses the new 2nd gen Razer optical switches, but they still feel not as tactile as a traditional mouse switch. The lack of tactility comes with the benefit of no double-clicking issues and increased lifespan compared to the older Omron 50m switches used on the Elite. No quality control issues on my unit at all. Flawless sensor, and great battery life (I've only charged my mouse once in over 3 weeks). Perfect side buttons and a nice scroll wheel as well. This mouse would be perfect if the switches weren't quite so mushy. Overall though, I'd still recommend this mouse.

  • Great for Deathadder fans
Verified BuyerReviewed by SeanMichael - May 21, 2021

If you like the shape of the classic Razer Deathadder or play a lot of FPS games and need a high performance wireless mouse then this is the one for you. The only thing I dislike is Razer's insistence on having bloated driver software. Razer Synapse requires you to log in and give information such as email, name, etc. before you can customize your mouse. They aren't the only company to do it but I still find it extremely annoying. That said the customization to be had with the software is very good, you can change button mapping, lift off distance, lighting etc. I just wish it didn't need me to provide an account to use. I use this mouse on Windows 10 and Linux and it has worked no problem on both Operating Systems.
