It looks nice, that's it

The keyboard has its benefits, but I wouldn't recommend this keyboard to anyone (who uses its drivers). It looks great, the keyboard lights up as expected (mostly), the keys are fully customizable, you can reassign them, and the cord is braided and a good length. If you are into its looks, its great! Unfortunately it looks better than it works. Occasionally after a long duration of time, the lights can flash an unexpected color, or even display the wrong color for some time. If you get up to speed with typing, it can be one of the loudest mechanical keyboards I've ever heard (I have family members who can hear me typing on another floor). The biggest disadvantage is your giving away a lot of personal information with it. Razer in its privacy policy mentions that they will collect your typing patterns and every website you visit (and they do use this for marketing). That's fine if you only use the keyboard for offline gaming, but for anything requiring a password, or secret, that is a huge vulnerability. They also, require you to use a Razer account to do anything to the keyboard, they force you to download updates, even if you say no. All of these problems are with the driver, if you can find a driver that is not made by Synapse, that works with their keyboards, than this is a great keyboard for you!

Great Gaming/Casual Keyboard

Although there might be better keyboards out there for gaming the Blackwidow V2 is one of my personal favourites. It's really good for both gaming and casual computer uses. The RGB lightning is really nice especially when you turn off the lights and just appreciate it. One of the best features if the new indicators which easily allow you to see which modes are on and a magnetic wrist-pad to reduce wrist pain.

Amazing Keyboard!

I bought this keyboard for my first mechanical keyboard and it's amazing! I love the way the lights light up and the nice satisfying clicky sound. The armrest is so comfy and made out of a very good material, overall this a great keyboard and if your looking for a mechanical clicky keyboard that lights up, this is a great option.

good keyboard okay lights

the keyboard its self is made very well and the switches are amazing and the key caps are very good the lights are fantastic and bright and any cold colour looks amazing but the warm colours always look green or reddish but it is overall a very good keyboard and the wrist rest is amazing too!

Good keyboard !

Please do not pay attention to the bad reviews, the keyboard is very well built, really great keyboard ! 15/10 is my note ! Of course the cherry mx used is the Green one for Tactile and clicky, yes it's loud but if it doesn't bother you then go for it ! I'm really not at all disappointed ! No issues ! The G issue i had it only one time on the 2013 version but it doesn't mean at all that it is a bad keyboard

Bad build quality, echo springs sound on all key

Bad build quality, echo springs sound on all key, I buy this keyboard last year after release and it was not sound like springs echo noise, I thing Razer change the level of quality, even the little demo key sound like springs...

Really Bad

The G key ggggggets stuck, space bar loose and keys at the bottom row pop out (CTRL, Windows, fn and arrow keep falling off). It doesn't come close to the quality of the 2013 version. On the other hand, the wrist rest is awesome and it also comes with a keychain!!! (useless by the way). Bottom line: GGGGGGGGGET SOMETHING ELSE!!!!.

Very bad

I found that my black widow 2013 is much better as they used cheap switch in this keyboard

If i could rate this keyboard it would be a 20 out of 20

This keyboard is the best I used it has the most clicky sounds and very satisfying I'm typing this out and easily one of the best keyboards. It does take a bit to get use to where the keys are but they are easy to type when you figure them out! Ths keyboard is pricey but its very good and worth that your paying for and i love how best buy sells there products fast and reliable so you have one month to return but trust me you don't want to get rid of this baby

I bought this keyboard over a year ago and right after that i got gladiator in wow and royalty in h1z1 best keyboard ive ever bought. feels good like a vagjayjay

  • from Alliston, ON

So far so good.

I don't understand the bad reviews as I find the keyboard to be great for typing and responsive for gaming. The spectrum of lighting available for customization is cool and the wrist rest is the best I've seen yet that comes with the keyboard. Nice to have those customizable macro keys on the left to launch programs/use for keys in game. Easy to customize through the program that comes with it so no holding down keys like with the Corsair keyboards I was also looking at. It is quite expensive though...

I just got this keyboard and now i just realized that the Logitech g810 is better than this just note that this a waste of money and they use cheap Chinese switches in their keyboards.

Need to log in to their app every time I restart my PC

Poorly designed s/w! You MUST sign up and register as a Razerzone member to change the settings. I couldn't figure out why the keyboard need internet access. May be Raze want to collect your personal info for marketing purpose?

Very Satisfied

I am absolutely in LOVE with this keyboard. Bought this keyboard for gaming and it works fantastic. Pros: -Looks and feels beautiful (Chroma-You can customize) -Very stable -You can choose which mechanical switches you prefer (I went with green) -Includes an extremely comfortable, ergonomic wrist rest (for those who will be playing/typing for hours). It is magnetic and easily removable. -There's a USB and headphone jack on the right side of the keyboard -5 Programmable buttons Cons: -I did notice that it attracts the oils from your fingertips -On the costly side
