ReTrak Utopia 360 VR Headset
- DO NOT BUY, get a different VR headset
from Vancouver, BC on April 24, 2019
This VR is cheap in price, which also can be said with it is quality. Very plastic and light, feels like it will break if you drop it high enough. The clips that hold the phone (I have an iPhone X) touches the buttons of my phone, so it will either turn off or lower the volume. When I finally got it to run, it does not feel like a VR. It feels like I am just looking through a hole as I can see the inside of the case and the video is a bit far from the eyes, so you do not feel or it does not seem like you are inside the video or game like in the other VR headsets. Also, I can see the circle of the lenses, even if you adjust them. I tried to return it to get my money back, but Best Buy does not accept opened VR headsets back.

- Nexus 6 Barely Fits
from Coquitlam, BC on April 7, 2018
It's a good product, though it's my first VR headset. My Nexus 6 just BARELY fits, I had to break off a holder piece so it would stop pressing on the power and volume buttons. People who give bad reviews because their phones overheat and blame the headset, it happens to my phone too. It's the phone's fault, using VR uses a lot of processor power.
- Not a good experience
from Oakville, ON on February 17, 2018
This set is a very poor quality. Remote is practically useless (not working at all). Picture is pixelated, phone overheats after 10 minutes. I tried both Samsung S7 and iPhone7+. Same results. Keep in mind you cannot return once opened, so I recommend to stay away from this product.
- Not Bad
from Edmonton, AB on February 14, 2017
The headset isn't bad overall, but lacks things. The button to push on the screen requires some messing around with. It doesnt always hit the screen properly. You must remove the rubber and file down the plastic piece inside. Other than that, not too heavy, has a QR code to work with the Google Cardboard app. 2.5
- Best One I've Tried
from Dartmouth, NS on January 13, 2017
We tried this one at a family members house. We bought a different, more expensive one because we thought it would be better.. We ended up returning the more expensive one and getting this one because we found it much more comfy on your head and face and it is quite light. Fits my iPhone 7 and boyfriend Galaxy S7 without cases. So happy!
- Decent little device
from MontrĂŠal, QC on December 15, 2016
Bought this for the novelty of VR after experiencing it through a cardboard viewer for some time. Needless to say it's more comfortable to wear thanks to the adjustable headbands that the cardboard one didnt have and the visuals are also quite clear with the limited but useful lenses adjustment knobs. Didnt care for the other versions with bluetooth remote and headphones. Bit of a gripe with how the phone holds inside the viewer, have to remove my case so it fits nicely with the gripping mechanism and the cover holds with a magnet, so careful when looking down. May open inadvertedly. Overall quite please for a cheap VR headset, was on sale too.

- better than cardboard
from Kitchener, ON on November 20, 2016
this will give you a taste of VR, so you know that you should have spent more money for a better experience. it is based on the cardboard platform, and most apps works. for the price you should not over expect on quality, but no extruding plastic on the outside, however one of the lens is scratched out of the box. It is comfortable enough to wear but the lens are not well designed, I'm unable to get a very good focus, I recommend using phones larger than 5 inch for this headset, it should help with the focus. Im using galaxy s5, 5.1 inch, 1080 resolution
