- Amazing colors and refresh rate- August 29, 2020
I had a 1080p 144hz 1 ms IPS monitor, it was good but when operating at 144hz the colors weren't that good, they were just fine. I am blown away by the quality of this monitor and the colors are so vivid yet so cool, they are really well balanced. It takes a few minutes to get used to the curve but that's about it. Remember to change the refresh rate in your PC settings! Sometimes the system makes it 60hz by default so make sure to check on the NVidia Control Panel, Intel Control Panel, or AMD control panel. Regarding the stand, I haven't any issues with it, it is pretty solid. The only downside is that you can't move the monitor up and down.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great intro to gaming- August 7, 2020
I wasn’t sure how into gaming I would be so I originally got a 60Hz monitor from a different brand. Then I decided to upgrade and I’m glad I did. I’ve had a Samsung curved TV for years and it’s the best TV I own. So I went curved with the monitor and love it just as much. It was easily assembled and set to 144Hz out of box. I later realized you have to set your computer (and potentially game) to the same Hz to really get the value. I have it hooked up via display port (2 HDMI ports are available) and running smoothly. Con: you cannot tilt or raise it and depending on your style of keyboard/mouse use, the stand might get in the way.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Brand New, Sent Back for Repair, Still an Issue- October 4, 2020
when this was opened up out of the box it worked fine, then a few hours later a single line came down across the screen. i was able to send it back and they didn't charge me for it which is nice. i get it back and it is working great for a week or so, then i hit the
key on my keyboard and that line is there in the same exact spot. i checked my cables, even took a screenshot and it wasn't there in the screenshot. this was a huge disappointment for me, especially since it took 2 weeks for the monitor to come back. i can;t recommend this to anyone knowing that they might experience the same issue, either by random chance or one wrong key press. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
