Overall I am very happy with my purchase. No notch, no hole punch and a flat screen. A good deal for a phone that is now updated to Android Pie and One UI. I'm also on the latest Android security update. It's a great bargain alternative to the S10e (obviously the processor and rear camera on the S10e are much better, but the A8 is more than adequate for me). The phone shipped very quickly and included a Samsung branded faster charger, which I appreciate. Upon receiving the phone the battery was at 14%. I hope it wasn't stored at that capacity for too long because it could reduce the battery's lifespan. However, the battery seems to have held up well and I've had no issues after using the phone for almost a week. The phone arrived as described without a single scratch. All the buttons and speakers work perfectly. My only real complaint about the phone is that the fingerprint sensor is inconsistent. Sometimes the phone unlocks right away and other times I need to lift my finger and try again. I hope it will learn and get better with time. Also, the glass back seems unnecessary, its both heavy and fragile. Although I must say when it's free of smudges and fingerprints the phone looks pretty slick! For the price I paid I am happy with my purchase and I plan to keep this phone for a while.
