Worst Samsung tablet ever. At Samsung official website it is mentioned that the S8+ tab include celular option and SIM tray. While it is lies, this tablet doesn't support SIM connectivity, and when I contacted Sumsung, they told me that the SIM option not included in the canadaian version. Really, is that what canadian deserves from Samsung, paying thousands of dollars to Samsung and get nothing! This Tab is a useless screen without internet, so if you don't have wifi connection, you tab will be a dead piece of metal. Plus the battery drains so fast and did not complete even 4 hours on a very basic use. Overall it is a bad quality tab and doesn't worth even a $100, I don't recommend it to anyone. It is wasting money.

I've had a number of tablets over the past decade, starting with the Blackberry Playbook, which was actually a really good device sadly abandoned by its manufacturer. I've owned a couple of Samsung Galaxy Tab A along the way as well, and enjoyed them. But this year I decided to treat myself and sprung for a Tab S8+ and so far it's great. Huge screen, fast, and loving the S Pen. I can actually draw on my tablet now!

This is my first tablet, and I bought is specifically because I wanted the familiarity of Samsung and I wanted one that could act as a desktop. Smart Switch worked perfectly and my phone contents were shared to it with one tap. I am enjoying it, so far, as the learning process continues. The only part I struggled with was the keyboard, but I read some reviews ahead of time about how to get it to act like a regular qwerty Canadian English set-up. In an effort to be international and to cram in extra key functions, they dropped the ball on that one. There are still a few that I won't use and don't know how to access. For those who are Canadian especially, after set-up you can choose French for the keyboard and the # sign will work plus all the usual symbols above the numbers using the shift key. I thank previous reviewers and pass that info forward. The pen works great, no lag, and of course the display is unmatched. I am not using this tablet for any work/ professional purposes, so for me the display and the DeX are the big selling points.
