Excellent TV, Good bang for your buck !

Amazing picture, you need to select the right picture mode for sports. Fast processor. Crisp clean picture. Great price for a amazing tv. Similar to picture to the high end TVs without the price. Love my new 65 inch TV. Had a hard time finding one in stock though.

This TV is INCREDIBLE. For the people who criticize the picture, they either have an extremely dated TV box, or the picture settings are horrendously calibrated. There should be NOTHING wrong with the picture if calibrated correctly. People are quick to blame the product for their own stupidity and negligence.

Not great

I bought this TV Nov 2017 and had it installed by the Geek squad. After only one month the Samsung TV lost internet access. I called the geek squad and they came after 2 weeks and advised me that I will need to call Samsung customer service. The TV has a great picture but I'm disappointed with both the TV quality and with the Geek Squad for telling me to call Samsung myself in which I thought I had a 3 year service contract with them. Prices have come down dramatically lately and I probably would have chosen a Sony instead

Went to Visions Electronics!

This review is not about the TV (because its awesome and we really wanted it) but about the poor integration and policies of inventory at Best Buy. I went into Best Buy Kamloops on Tuesday cash in hand to buy this TV. There were none in stock however, what is ridiculous is that they couldn't order me one. At time of writing this review, there are 15 available online. I wanted to buy it in store so I could also purchase the delivery and set up service. The staff person Aaron tried so hard, it wasn't his fault - the system wouldn't let him order it! So I went down to Vision Electronics. They were out of stock as well (its a fabulous sale price) but they happily ordered it for me and will deliver and set up. You lost a sale Best Buy.

How Do I review a TV that you apparently cannot get!

Best buy is turning into a store that makes it really hard to spend money at! Tried to get this TV first in Peterborough, then Belleville then Kingston. They keep putting it on sale then they don't have it when you call in. It is now available (last week they said they don't even know when they could order) online but I would rather just pick up instead of having to schedule a day off work to receive it then pay 95 for shipping to boot.

It’s nice and big and cool features but... Bought it for watching sports and disappointed. Looked at reviews thought it would be good TV. GOt to say not sure what Tv people had before they bought this TV. So disappointed thougbt it would be better. Everyone looks like they glowing. Hoping can find better settings but not feeling optimistic that I will. Would not buy again. My 4 year old TV has truer picture. Sound is good one bonus.

4k Is Good??

just bought a 4k suhd 8 series samsung which is the year before this one with onkyo atmos reciever.. Lots of little tech issues to worry about with 4k. 1. Dolby reciever to smart tv apps like you tube and netflix and xbox at the same time is excruciating even through ARC, it glitches. basically have to use TV standard audio. 2. Netflix/youtube on smart tv is Native 4k which is great. but the xbox one S versions are Not. and max at 1080p even with 4k/HDR enabled in the settings. 3. games on 30 frames are very hard to play. even with motion plus on/off ... 60 frames disguises this best. streaming 4k uhd blue rays are about 20 - 50 gb and is not possible even through plex. get ready to upgrade your pcs to i7. gen 8 processors/1080s/and 4k motherboards and buy a blu ray RW burner and triple layer blanks to try to get across your Full 4k uhd content. will not work with flash drives/SSD's Very disappointing that none of this has come up on the internet much and we're all being led to believe that this all ready to go and it's basically not. I'm not saying DON'T buy, but you should know this stuff before hand. It's going to take a little more work and probably a little more money than you think to get the quality of setup that most gamers are already used to.

Extremely great bang for buck

Very similar to last year 8000 series, uses one connect box to plug everything separately away from TV set, and upgrade later on. Universal remote is sweet because it now controls my Pioneer receiver and Apple TV. Color is beautiful and black level is deeper than I expected from led panel. Very worth the money, only downside is way the legs are designed, I have to mount the TV, however mounting and install are free with this TV purchases so I wasn't complaining

Great TV!

Received this TV as a gift and it's absolutely beautiful. Great image quality, great overall design of the TV. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Do not hesitate to buy this product.

would recommend!

This tv is great! I have not had a issue with it yet ive had it for 2 months. At first the motion technology made movements blurry but once you play around with the settings a bit the picture really comes alive even when im not watching 4k shows i can really tell the difference compared to my old ju6500 it just feels like im there. Would highly recommend getting!

Purchased this item in store on 31 Jan 2017, after a month black lines started appearing across the bottom 50% of the screen & have lost the colour in the top left quadrant. Have been attempting to get warranty rerpair from Samsung for past 3 weeks without success. The 1 800 number is to the Dominican Republic and the quality of their telephone line matches the quality of this unit. As of this date the unit still is not repaired. Every time I call Samsung I get to explain the issue all over again even though I quote their service ticket number to them. Would not recommend this product or Samsung after going through this experience. Best Buy advised that I would have to resolve the warranty repair issue with Samsung and not them as they were not interested in a exchange for a model that works.
