SanDisk Clip Sport Go 32 GB Flash MP3 Player - Blue

This unit is comedically small. It is functionally the re-incarnation of the original Sansa. I'd been using a Clip Sport Plus for a year before I bought this one and I personally like this Clip Sport Go much better. Since these are pretty much your only options I'll just compare the two. The clips on both of these are functionally useless. Put these in your pockets. The Clip Sport Plus Pros: -More durable (I'd drop this from 20 ft and it would be fine) - Fonts are much more readable (9-10pt) - Menus and song list scrolling are at 60Hz. Cons: (Oh boy) -The buttons are mushy and stiff. They don't feel good. - Headphone jack is in a terrible position. -The rubber flaps are intensely annoying (I just ripped them off) -UI is not my cup of tea. White text on teal and yellow? Why??? -Bluetooth is beyond finnicky and generally not good. Might as well use your phone. - High intensity (160 bpm+) songs get mushy. The Clip Sport Go: Pros: - Almost half the size of the Clip Sport Plus. It probably has a footprint smaller than your car keys. - Sound is better on all fronts - It is better in pockets. -UI is much more pleasing to look at. (dark mode is just better) - Buttons are nice and clicky. Cons: - SIGNIFICANTLY slower in menus. This bad boy is literally running 2fps constantly. Do you remember the 2000's? -Expect small scratches when dropped. - Fonts are really tiny. Somewhere between 8 - 9pt. Conclusion: It's definitely a matter of perspective which you like more. If you want bigger text and durability go to the Sport Plus. The Sport Go is slower and less durable However it is smaller, sounds better and feels better which makes it my choice.

Great product... stores a ton of sounds...easy to use.. fits in my shirt pocket.. I plug in daily... the only con I have.. it's not Bluetooth...but otherwise just the storage space is incredible...

I got this to replace an old version of the same player. I use it night when I can't sleep, which leads to the problems I've found. First the screen is really bright even though I have it turned down to the lowest level allowed. Second the buttons on the front are hard to feel without looking at them. On my old player I could click through to what I wanted to do without looking at the player. Lastly, it is hard to access the sleep function because you have to click through a lot of screens to turn it on. Honestly after this one wears out I'll probably just use my phone even though it's kind of big to use at night.

I have always purchased SanDisks in lieu of the apple products as I found them to be great for what I need and the price is great. With this last SanDisk clip, I upgraded to a 32gb so that I could load my whole library of cds onto it. I found that, in many instances, it skips songs from a whole cd list when I am syncing...and even if I go back to intentionally put the song on, it won't accept it. Also, the jack is on the bottom of the clip, so when I clip it to my shirt hem or sleeve, the cord to my earbuds gets shortened and tangled in the clip itself. It was better when the jack was on the side...or it would be great if the jack was moved to the top of the device.

So wanted to love this MP3 player. After the battery was low and then recharged the MP3 player always searches for track 128 of the book and then scrambles the order of the book tracks. Have to load the 1st 99 tracks, listen - then delete. Then you have to load and delete all chapters 100 and higher 10 chapters at a time. What a disappointment and waste of the resources to make the MP3 player. I've deleted everything on the player multiple times, re-formated the player over 10 times and reset to factory specifications too many times to count. San Disk customer service is non-existent. RUN from this product.
