- Does the jobVerified BuyerReviewed by FRinLI - January 29, 2021
I use this music player mainly for when I’m sleeping to play some nature sounds. Now I would’ve given this five stars given the price and what it basically does but the reason I cut off one star is because I really think there should be some sort of lock button. I find that at times I accidentally hit one of the buttons and the track skips or it turns on, not what you want. Overall it’s pretty good for what I need. I also like the fact that there’s a built-in FM tuner so I can listen to radio when I don’t wanna stream it online. I would highly recommend if you need a cheap MP3 player for the same reason I am using it or for something highly portable.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. - Good device, not as good as the originalVerified BuyerReviewed by CoolBasement - May 11, 2019
This is our third SanDisk Clip product, and the first one (the original Clip) was the best. The second one (the Clip Sport) had good features, but got a lot of tracks in the wrong order, even though the track numbers are correct. This one, the Clip Sport Go, seems to have corrected that, but it won't play the M4A files that work on the previous two. SanDisk has changed something in the decoder that doesn't recognize these files, even though they were created with iTunes. I'll need to convert these file to MP3 in order to play them. If all your files are MP3, then you'll be fine.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. - So sad I have to return it.Reviewed by Dudette - November 3, 2021
I'm torn - I'd kind of like to keep it, but the volume sometimes does not work - I press the button to increase, but it decreases and I have to stand there for a while and leave it alone, then try a few times until, finally, it works again. Very annoying - especially when out walking. I've only had it for less than a week, but I've become attached to it. I like the clip and the lightness of it and it actually sounds pretty good - especially when I personalize the EQ settings. And the radio reception (so far anyway) is pretty good - way better than the Sony Walkman NWZ183FB. It's not perfect, but, for the short time I've had it, it seems like a pretty decent little player. I'd keep it, if not for the screwed up volume buttons.

Report - Do not buyReviewed by LanaD - May 20, 2020
It turns on easily, draining the battery. It stopped working entirely after one week of use. I usually like sandisk mp3 players; this one is a huge disappointment.

Report - Got this for camp, works wellReviewed by banana - June 29, 2021
The product itself works as intended. It plays music well and the shuffle button comes in handy. However, it came with relatively no instructions on how to download songs to the device. I spent multiple hours of my life attempting to transfer downloaded songs from iTunes to the mp3 player, and I was unsuccessful because the format wasn't supported. I had to actually purchase each individual song and then convert it into an mp3 format, which was somewhat of a daunting experience; I didn't want to spend any more money on the product after the initial purchase, but besides that, it works well. I'd recommend this *only* if you're a: willing to spend the money to purchase each individual song again or b: already have songs downloaded on a computer in an mp3 format.
