- DO NOT BUY THIS SPECIFIC CARD- September 24, 2020
This card uses the slower A1 standard. You can find SanDisk and other brands cards with the newer and much faster A2 and U3/V30 standards (typically you'll see both of these marked on the card but sometimes it may only have one of these ratings on it) for cheaper. A2 rated cards are better if you are storing apps or games on it so they will load and transfer faster and U3/V30 are more suited for media such as 4K videos. If you're fine with the slower speeds then go for it as there is nothing wrong with this card, but you'll just be spending extra money for worse performance. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
- The need for extra speed- February 27, 2021
Needed additional memory (Micro SD card) for my new Samsung Note 20 Plus cell phone as the 512 GB on board memory wasn't available like my Note 9 when I purchased the Note 20. The SD card was easy to install and came with a computer adapter. It works OK, but isn't nearly as fast as the onboard memory in my Note 9 was. I opted for the medium priced card as reviews recommended it as tests and found less likely to burp, crash, etc. and loose important data. Maybe the was price is the issue as there may be more costly cards with faster read/write speeds. I've found that it will buffer (circle going round and round at times) to catch up with itself while reviewing data, music, movies, etc. If you can afford it get the fasted read/write speed card your bank account can tolerate.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Amazing price for both speed and space- January 25, 2021
Bought this for my fiancé's Nintendo Switch and it works wonderfully. He says I got a great deal for the price I paid ($150 for one card). His games run better than it would have been on just the system alone and even after downloading all his games he still has space to add more. My fiancé works with technology on a daily basis so for him to give such a good review, especially on a storage card is not that common and how frequently he has been ripped off. Make the most of this sale before it ends.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
