Sengled Smart 4m (13 ft.) Wi-Fi LED Light Strip

Low Quality Sub Par product with equally Sub Par customer service, with a mid to high price tag. Newly purchased product faulty from the start, lighting not displaying the same color, and even no color at all. Sengled Support/Customer Service equally atrocious, question raised left on answered at time of this review six days later. The Sengled Home Apo Used to control, manage and monitor products cannot get higher than a 1.7 rating. Three strikes right there from the onset, I am definitely out.

At twice the price of most other online led strips. The only reason I purchased this was for smartthings integration. That was not intuitive but can be done. The main colors red, blue, green are fine not crazy bright but are nice tones. The white however is horrible. No level of white is actually white. All levels of white are mostly varying degrees of orange except 6500k which is closer to a warm light. The strip itself has what most water resistant strips have, a clear silicone layer that adds a bunch of needless weight which I've found usually makes the strip fall of despite decent adhesive. I forsee it's removal like I've done on other strips.

Been searching for the perfect tv backlighting and this is it. App works flawlessly. The real convenience are the connector strips to go around corners. This kit fit my 65”LG Oled tv and still have 3 spare sections. Love the microphone that senses sound and changes colors to the sound. Looks awesome when the tv is off and playing music from sound bar. Great product especially for the price

These lights were great for the first two months. They made watching TV and movies, as well as video games, much more enjoyable, however 4 months into use, they've deteriorated quickly. The adhesive backing slowly became unstuck from the TV, which resulted in the entire strand falling off. The peeling/detaching also must have bent some internal or connecting wiring. This caused a strand to stop working unless bent just right. I've also noticed that the intensity/brightness has dimished since original use, no matter how bright the intensity is set on the app. I will be replacing these with Phillips Hue once they're back in stock.

Bought it for gift but ended up with it because it’s a faulty unit. Send Sengled customers service an email, got a response asking for photos to which I sent 3 photos and don’t get any more response. Basically the light came with 3 connectors but using more than 2 results to the light not working. I swapped it around and nothing works. 60 bucks down to drain. Word of caution that you better off picking other brands than this one.
