  • The information is not sufficiant
    Reviewed by MASOUD - February 23, 2018

I ordered it to replace my existing Garage door opener which only the Motor was broken, but when I installed it, I realized, it is not working with other kind of Safety sensors! I contacted the SkyLink by email! and at the same time bought a new safety sensor for almost 60 Dollar!!! to replace my existing safety sensors. Skylink answered my email after a week and they asked me to change the sensors!!!! I disappointed because lack of information that they provide to customer and late respond! in the same case it would be better to buy whole system not the replacement kit!!! the travel speed is also low!

  • New Garadge door open for double door
    Reviewed by Ross - December 3, 2018

I just installed the new SKYLINK garage door opener and it went up with NO problems at all. My old system was installed in 2000 and finally quit. I could hardly beleive the small size of this openerand how quiet it is. All my cars, door openers inside and out and hand remotes programed like they were meant to be and I am so happy it only took 3 hours for ALL the instalation and removal of th OLD system.

  • Excellent Replacement For Old Units
    Reviewed by Biu - August 15, 2017

I bought this unit to replace my broken old Craftsman garage door opener. Just a direct swap of the unit. Bolt location is the same, I can use the old safety sensors. Even the wall controller had the same screw location. The unit is very quiet compared to my old Craftsman's AC motor. The initial setup is very simple. Only took one minute to set the travel limits and force. Works with my Skyline Hub and I could control from my smartphone and get notifications. This unit is compatible with my Nissan's Homelink remote. However, the pairing instruction is not in the manual and not available on the web. The procedure is also different from what the car manual suggested so I posted below what I got from the Skylink support staff to help others. "Instructions for cloning the Skylink remote to your vehicle’s “in-car remote” system. Use the Skylink Transmitter that came with your Garage Door Operator for setting up the “in-car remote system”. 1. Make sure you have already programed the Skylink remote to the opener. 2. The instructions for this step are included in the instruction manual that came with the opener. 3. If you have a multi-button remote, please note which button was programed with the opener as you will use this button in the steps below. Refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for instructions on how to start the programming mode for your in-car remote system. Step 1. Note: Do not start by pressing the “Learn” button on the operator as this is not required. - Press and hold the Skylink remote button (the button that you previously programed to the opener) for 10 seconds until the LED starts flashing rapidly and release the button. Step 2. - While the LED of the Skylink remote is rapidly flashing, program the transmitter to your “in-car remote system” following the vehicle owner’s manual instructions. - Programming must be done within 20 seconds before the flashing stops. - If the Skylink remote LED stops flashing before completing the programing, repeat these steps again. This completes the steps necessary to program the Skylink remote to the “in-car remote system”. - Do not press the “Learn” button on the operator after completing these steps or while the Skylink remote is rapidly flashing. This is unnecessary and may actually delete the Skylink remote programing where you may have to start over from the beginning. "
