Control Sonos with your voice

  • Sonos One allows you to start music with your voice from Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio and TuneIn. Use your voice and the Sonos app to control and manage all your music in one place: Apple Music, podcasts and much more.
  • Ask Alexa to check news and traffic, set a timer, manage smart devices and other helpful skills using a single Sonos speaker. (Sonos One does not support Alexa voice calling.)

Control any way you want

  • Sonos One seamlessly syncs voice, app, and touch commands, enabling you to manage music with a single word, tap of the app, or swipe of the speaker. Combine voice with the Sonos app to manage all your music in one place.

Multi-room listening

  • Sonos One wirelessly connects to Sonos speakers in additional rooms, allowing you to expand your Home Sound System when you’re ready.

Superior sound

  • Enjoy surprisingly rich, room-filling sound from a smart speaker.

Seamless design

  • Seamless all-black or all-white color, smooth matte finish, durable metal grille for an appearance that fits in any home.

Complete privacy

  • An illuminated LED indicator light ensures you always know when your speaker’s microphone is active. Or turned off. Sonos One is designed with extra security — the hard-wire LED connection ensures no one is listening when you want privacy.

Custom microphone array

  • Sonos One is built with custom 6-microphone array to hear you from anywhere in the room, no matter how loud the music is playing. With smart voice capture and noise cancellation, the Sonos One ensures you’re heard.

Responsive audio chime

  • Alexa provides an audio chime to let you know Sonos One has heard you and is working on a response.

Proven design

  • Built on the mini-but-mighty blueprints of PLAY:1, Sonos One is backed by a pair of Class-D amplifiers and custom-built drivers, meticulously tuned to the speaker’s unique acoustic architecture.

Touch controls

  • Tap to turn up the volume. Swipe to skip a track. Mute the microphone for privacy. Sonos One’s touch controls are always a tap away.

Fits almost anywhere

  • Its size makes it perfect for bookshelves, counters and snug spaces. Mount Sonos One to the wall, ceiling or a floor stand using third party accessories.

Humidity resistant

  • Designed to be moisture resistant, Sonos One streams your favorite songs in music starved places like bathrooms and outdoor patios. All you need is Wi-Fi and a power source.

Trueplay speaker tuning

  • Trueplay fine-tunes Sonos One to ensure you get the very best sound in any room, no matter where you put it.

  • Pair two Sonos Ones together in the same room for instant stereo sound; add a Sub for deep bass. Or pair with your TV’s Playbar or Playbase for epic home theater surround sound. Cannot be stereo paired with other Sonos speakers including Play:1.

Add to your Sonos Home Sound System

  • Sonos One wirelessly syncs with your entire Sonos Home Sound System.
  • Fill separate rooms with different songs. Or group them together to hear the same song throughout the house.

Better over time

  • Since Sonos is continually updating with new features, services and skills, your music and voice options will both keep getting better over time.

  • SONOS APP - Big FAIL...very disappointing

from Gatineau, QC on December 19, 2018

Bought this speaker and was thoroughly excited as it came highly recommended by several friends who have it. Followed instructions to download app....signed up and app told me that my email was already being used....hmmm....tried going in then as already signed up....said it did not recognize password....would send password instructions to email....nothing came....even checked trash and junk. We tried 9 more different emails and 4 different people tried to sign up with app on their devices (all apple devices) and apparently all the emails were already in use. You would think that in this day and age Bluetooth - Bluetooth and done but no....makes me very weary to try anymore SONOS products

  • Great when paired

from Toronto, ON on October 23, 2018

The setup is definitely a bit more time consuming than with the HomePod, but as long as you can download an app and follow instructions, you're good to go. Great sound, especially when you pair two of them. I was looking for something with good sound at lower volumes, since I live in a condo and can't blast loud music, and the Sonos 1 does that job perfectly. Alexa is a nice added touch but I didn't buy them for that feature so I don't use it much. For me, buying two of these for stereo sound vs one HomePod was a no brainer. I'm loving them and have no regrets ... although I still do want a HomePod for another room.

  • Buggy setup in complex network

from Vancouver, BC on October 5, 2018

The speaker looks great and sounds decent for a small speaker. Setting the speaker up was a pain in the rear. A couple details: 1. The speaker and the Sonos app struggle to find each other when they are on the same network if: your phone connects to a 5ghz connection on your wifi as the speaker uses 2.4ghz. If you have smart steering on your modem you will likely have to create a manual rule for your phone's Mac address to connect via 2.4ghz 2. Don't get me started on the trouble with the presence of a guest network or connecting via a computer on the network that is sharing a wifi signal to extend the network. 3. The Sonos app has no return to main menu when you get caught in a failure to discover speaker loop. I had to reset the app several times - the app is buggy. 4. If you need to move the speaker from one network to another you will struggle setting it back up without resetting everything. Even after you do, the latent information in the Alexa app about the speaker means Alexa can talk on the speaker but still needs to have the Sonos "skill" added again to actually perform any task. If you have a 2.4 ghz network, no guest network or extenders and you set the speaker up on that network the first time, you should have no trouble at all. If however you set it up somewhere else first to get it set up (a gift?) you may need to restrain yourself.
