- Excelent Show- September 9, 2009
The handiest and dandiest nutshell in which to describe the FX show Sons of Anarchy is “Hamlet with Bikers.” It’s not the least accurate metaphor in the world: You have a Claudius, you have a Gertrude, and even the hero of the show, Jackson “Jax” Teller (Charlie Hunnam), has blond hair and blue eyes, looking as Danish as Danish can be. Hamlet with Bikers isn’t the worst kind of thing for a show. There are a whole ton of shows that don’t have Shakespearean allusions or dirty, smelly bikers, so can’t we have one that does?Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- The best show you never knew you were missing- December 3, 2009
As the title says, this really is the best show you never knew you were missing. Unfortunately we up here in Canada don't get the FX Network so it's exposure is very limited. It was only by fluke that I discovered this series last summer while looking over the Best Buy's new release DVD section. I went home and checked out what it was about, even downloaded a couple of episodes, but returned a week later to buy the season. Now that Season 2 has just wrapped up, I won't hesitate to buy it when it's eventually released. You don't have to be a bike lover to enjoy it, and it's not your usual vanilla cops vs criminals show either. Buy this thing, watch it and I'll guaranty you're hooked on what I honestly consider to be the best show on TV...... and this is being written by someone who never takes the time think twice about doing a review.

- Another Great F/X Drama- September 20, 2017
It's "The Sopranos" on motorcycles with a slightly less complex, less subtle psychological component. Part of the genius of “Sons of Anarchy” is that it keeps us caring about characters who should long ago have caused us to shudder and flee. The first couple of episodes were a lot of set-up so I wasn't overly engaged, but once you start to see the plot develop you are instantly addicted. This is a must see.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
