YouTube not working

I bought the Sony XD49X720E TV, in December/17, and I the of surprised because YouTube program not working connect not only gives me the image of YouTube frustration.

Average TV

Just an average TV. You can find better for a similar price. The remote control quality feels very cheap. Smart features are really slow, most apps are useless. I would recommend using Chromecast or any other streaming devices instead. Most annoying thing I found was when content switches to HDR, the TV screen has to go dark for about 5 seconds. Going back to normal does the same.

Avoid At ALL Costs

I spent about a week researching 4K televisions before making the decision to pick up this Sony model. The set itself is heavier than expected and almost impossible to remove from the package without tearing the cardboard and breaking the styrofoam. The item description says the set weights about 25 pounds without the stand, but that is absolutely not correct - the set weighed at least 40 pounds and required three people to unbox. Set-up was simple and straight-forward, but after a few days, it was obvious from the next room that the screen already had a dead pixel and a sizeable scratch beneath the glass. How that happened, I still don't know. What shocked me, however, was the set permanently lost its connection after two weeks of problem-free usage. I was repeatedly told my model must have been "a lemon" for this to happen, but a quick Google search proves lost/dead connectivity is a pervasive issue with this Sony model. I re-packaged it and had it returned for a full refund, which I then spent on a superior Toshiba model. Avoid this model at all costs - no matter what it looks like after unboxing and initial set-up, it will begin breaking down immediately.

Excellent TV

This is the first TV I've ever purchased. It does everything I want it to do: netflix, youtube, playing videos from USB stick. Very easy to set up, very lightweight. Amazing colours.

Just awful. The thing worked alright for about 2 weeks. The interface was clunky and laggy. One day while watching netflix, it just crashed and will not connect to the internet again no matter what I do. Very disappointing, I've been buying Sony for years and this was my first big 4k tv purchase and to have it turn out like this just made me angry.

Remote Control Can Be Better

The TV itself is great but the remote control can be better. 1. The response time is too short: Whenever I changed my input say from HDMI 1 to 2, if I am too slow to click the OK button, it will change back to HDMI 1 from 2 Note: I am 65 so my motor skill is a little slow. Should not be a problem for the younger person. 2. The layout of the home button and the down button is too close, you can mistakenly push the home button instead of the down button or vice versa. It will be 5 stars rating if not for the remote control

Poor software on this TV

This TV will lock up and lose its network connection permanently. I am very frustrated with this product. I do not recommend at all.
